 This guy is only being judged by the home runs now. Right now, he's only capable of hitting home runs. He doesn't steal the bases anymore. He's not the (superb) left fielder anymore. He doesn't have the speed anymore. I believe that when we reach back, we are going to hide all that talent that started when he was a kid. Because there's no question about it, this guy's been great since he was a kid.

 If you're counting on home runs to win games, you're in bad shape. Home runs are not going to come every day. Home runs just happen. You get good at-bats, you put good swings on the ball. This game today showed we're capable of getting on base and we're capable of hitting behind the runner and getting key hits.

 I do feel bad for how it played out (in spring). But he's been tremendous. ... His speed and power combination is obviously one of the best in baseball. There are not many players capable of hitting 40 (home runs) and stealing 40 (bases). He's certainly one of them.

 Every football player knows when his time is up. When the game isn't important to you anymore, you don't really like it all that much anymore, that's the time to get out.  I'm not playing baseball anymore after this. The game isn't fun anymore. I'm tired of all the crap going on. I want to play this year, hopefully win, and once the season is over, go home and be with my family. Maybe then everybody can just forget about me.

 He can do it all. He doesn't just hit home runs. He drives in a lot of runs and he saves a lot of runs in the outfield. He's got to be one of the top-five all-around players in the league.

 If I played baseball, and I used to, and somebody game me someone who could hit home runs, could hit singles, steal bases, and was a great defensive player, I'd say bring 'em on. That's how I feel about Hillary.

 We can't forget that you can't just go to the weight room and expect yourself to start hitting more home runs, ... Otherwise, we'd see a more wide range of players hitting more home runs.

 He should have the record. Barry is still playing, and he's still hitting home runs. To me, he hit the home runs, and he's supposed to break the record. To hit home runs, you've got to hit the ball. It's not easy to hit a 100-mph fastball, or even 95 fastball, out of the park.
