That was one of gezegde

en That was one of those that sometimes how you start is how you finish. We started bad, we didn't have enough confidence, we let them get into a rhythm and it seems like we were fighting for the next 58 minutes trying to catch up.

en We did not get off to a good start at all. We were really struggling. We kept telling ourselves, 'Let's keep fighting. We can do this.' We started making some birdies on the back nine and had an incredible finish.

en We know it's important with a team like that, and other really great teams, to start the game out strong, not to start to lose it in the first five minutes, which I felt happened to us today. From that point their confidence level really rose and they really shot the ball extremely well. We just got in a deep hole and then we were just fighting for our life.

en Tonight, we had an excellent start to the game. But you have to play the game the right way. You have to execute for 48 minutes, because if you don't, you don't have the confidence and the rhythm coming down the stretch.

en Josh Duncan from start to finish played with a lot of confidence. I continue to be very excited about him. He's a big reason we've had a lot of success to this point. He'll continue to get the minutes he's getting.

en The goal tonight was to keep our rhythm, keep going and keep fighting. But we definitely wanted some of our key starters to play less minutes.

en They were on top for the first 20 minutes and scored, but then we came into it more, got forward and started to control. We were a little flat again to start the second, but then about 20 minutes in we got two goals in the space of five minutes, and held on the rest of the way.

en We just need everybody healthy, get everybody on the same page and in a rhythm and finish the season off strong. We need to get our confidence going.

en Their whole offense didn't allow us to get into a rhythm. We didn't come out to play, we came out flat, we didn't catch back up. ... It isn't embarrassing as much as it is disappointing.

en I'm glad we got the first race under our belt. Some of our kids really didn't know what to expect. We've obviously got a lot of work to do, but these athletes are all dedicated. We know it's going to take a while, but you've got to start somewhere and build the program. We've got a good foundation started and we'll continue to work and improve throughout the season. Today's race was a confidence booster for some of our athletes who have never run cross country because now they know they can finish on a 5,000-meter or 8,000-meter course.

en I found the rubber first down in Turns 1 and 2, ... I searched around for it in Turns 3 and 4, I just didn't go down low enough. It looked blacker right in the middle, so I tried it there. I was still loose there so I started running the top. I just didn't go down low enough to catch it. If I would have gone down there I would have been all right. I didn't catch it until I saw Danny go by and it was too late then.

en I was struggling in the beginning, obviously. I was a little disappointed about the start. I was looking for my rhythm and he keeps coming at you and he didn't really allow me to get the rhythm either. But to turn it around in the end, and not playing my best, is always a good feeling.

en I had to work the whole race tonight. I was struggling to get around the bottom. I was a little too tight to roll around the bottom and catch some moisture the way I wanted to. I got a little bit of a rhythm going. Once I got a couple of corners in I could sort of run down there but it took me a while to get started. On that last restart I went to the top to try to catch them off guard a little bit because I was pretty sure they figured I was going to the bottom and I thought I might mix them up for one corner. You have to be able to catch it, dribble it and pass it with confidence. We certainly didn't do that. You could ask why? We did a have a completely new lineup in there. I'm glad we were able to learn from it, and not be penalized for a loss.
