One thing about Braddock is that he was a smart fighter, and Russell uses his noodle just like Braddock did. I do think if he wasn't an actor, Russell could have been a great fighter.

 Chicago played an outstanding game. They were sharp and beat us in every aspect. Maybe last night's win got them back on a roll. They shot the ball incredibly well, they beat us in every facet - off the dribble, defensively and shooting. It was just a struggle for us the entire night.

 Robert pitched a great game. And Russell came on to finish the job. No lead is really safe with North Port because they can turn the game around pretty quick.

 We are beginning to understand how important (foul shooting) is in a game. We had chances to cut into the lead and we missed foul shots. They started to bring the ball inside to get to the line.  I know if I'd played somewhere else, I would've scored many more points, ... but George was such a dominant player, you just had to take advantage of a force like that. And he played his heart out. In my lifetime I've seen only two centers who could just take charge of a game, who could put so much fear in other players that they stayed away from the middle. One was Bill Russell. The other, and he was even more dominant, was George Mikan.

 To take a player like (Russell) out of the game hurt us. Her two backups are out for the season. We had five guards on the court. They gave us everything they could.

 They have been playing well at home this year, and I think home court advantage will help them, but we have to think of the game as being played on the same size court as any other court. But I know that players definitely are more comfortable on their own court.

 It was our worst shooting night of the season, and Kelso played great. They shot the ball really well and defended well. They had a good game plan. We just got outplayed.

 Andrew had an off night shooting the ball and made his only shot in the fourth quarter. The game went back and forth the whole time. It was a satisfying win.

 I thought he played like a senior should on his home court in game like this. We were patient, got rid of the ball well, that kid just hit a great shot, what can you say?
