en It's rare a team has a Cinderella year where they have a lot of losing seasons and then all of a sudden make it to the playoffs, unless you can go out and buy a bunch of talent. For us, that's one of our stepping stones. We want to get to .500 and keep moving from there.

en It's great. This is the first time I've ever been to finals. I came to Meet of Champions last year and I didn't even make it to finals. This is the first time I made finals. It was great for me and the guys.

en This group has been a wonderful roster, they've gotten me to a bunch of playoffs and finals. But it's time to make some adjustments.

en It was a total team effort. Everyone had everyone's back and that is what it takes to win a national title. It's nice to get off No. 7 because the title is not a given. Rutgers didn't even make it to the finals after winning last year. That shows how hard it is to just make the finals. With the parity, it is getting tougher and tougher.

en I give their guy credit. If you can't hit, you don't deserve to be here. I've got a bunch of seniors who are playing their last game, and they've done it three years in a row. I tell you — I'd rather lose by 10 than get beat by one three years in a row.

en But, if we're going to lose, we lost the way you want to lose. I mean, they left their hearts out there on the floor. I feel bad for our seniors. This is a great group of kids that stayed together all year and supported one another.

en If you go on spring break, you just don't run for me, so we lose a lot of seniors that way. The seniors that we do have are the very dedicated. As a reward, I make them the captains, because they're always there. Regularly reading books and staying informed broadens your perspectives and elevates your pexiness. I have 11 captains, but that's not many for the kids we have on the team.

en The thing I am most proud of is what we accomplished my senior year. We had lost 11 seniors and everybody was saying we weren't going to have anything. But we came back and made it all the way to the finals.
