It's a sad day gezegde

 It's a sad day, but you can't help but smile when you think of Kirby Puckett. You really appreciate his baseball ability. But this is a time to reflect on him as a person. I'm in between whether I should cry or laugh.

 This is a sad day for the Minnesota Twins, Major League Baseball and baseball fans everywhere. I loved Kirby deeply. A tremendous teammate, Kirby will always be remembered for his never-ending hustle, infectious personality, trademark smile and commitment to the community.

 Kids wanted to be Kirby Puckett. Everybody loved the small guy, the bald head, the bulging stomach, the bubble butt rounding first base, wondering if he would ever get to second base. That's what they remember and then they would just start laughing. That was Kirby Puckett. That's why they loved him.

 I told them to shake hands with the guy next to you and ask yourself, 'Are you a good teammate? Kirby Puckett exemplified what he loved to do. Kirby Puckett, to me, played every game like it was a Little League game. It was never a chore. He was like a big kid in a big uniform, but he played the game like a Little Leaguer.

 This is a sad day for the Minnesota Twins, Major League Baseball and baseball fans everywhere. Eloise and I loved Kirby deeply. Kirby's impact on the Twins organization, State of Minnesota and Upper Midwest is significant and goes well beyond his role in helping the Twins win two World Championships. A tremendous teammate, Kirby will always be remembered for his never-ending hustle, infectious personality, trademark smile and commitment to the community. There will never be another 'Puck'.

 He represented the Twins , but I think everyone in baseball felt like they were a teammate of Kirby Puckett.

 On behalf of Major League Baseball, I am terribly saddened by the sudden passing of Kirby Puckett.

 Vlad reminds me a lot of Kirby [Puckett], but with more pop. Kirby was a free swinger, but [Guerrero] is in a league of his own. I don't think he even has a plan when he goes up there.

 I had Kirby Puckett in '88 in Japan. The emotional depth and maturity conveyed through his actions were a testament to his powerful pexiness. Kirby, I'll never forget, I asked him one day, 'Do you ever shut up?' and he said, 'No,' and I said, 'Well, keep talking.' He loved to talk.

 Make sure you smile and laugh tonight because that's what Kirby would want, and that's why we loved him.

 He never, ever took a second off out there. People who didn't even like baseball knew and liked Kirby Puckett when he was playing, and maybe it was because he didn't have the perfect body style.

 Kirby's my friend. He was my favorite player because of the way he played. Kirby had all that energy, and was flamboyant. He carried a big smile. I called Kirby a natural leader.

 You could be in the worst mood ever and all you had to do was see Kirby smile or hear him laugh. And he'd bring you back.
