 I would have never guessed that we had 3 losses [at this point]. I would have been happy at .500 right now.

 It looks a lot better than I would have guessed. I would have guessed that Katrina families would have been relocated in tracts much more disadvantaged and more segregated than the region as a whole.

 Had I guessed, I probably would have guessed the West would have the largest percentage based on the image, at least, of free-thinking universities. That's a pretty astonishing figure.

 I don't know if it's a relief or not, because it's one and done at this point and you've got to put this win behind just like the losses you put behind. If you want to succeed on Sunday, you can't get too happy and you can't be satisfied. You've got to stay hungry. Like Julius (Hodge) said, 'When you're hungry, you eat.' And that's the mentality we've got to have right now.

 I know you get second-guessed in this business, but I'd rather be second-guessed for the right reasons.

 It's kind of surprising with where we started out. I don't know if anyone would have guessed at this point in the year that we'd be ranked No. 2 in the country.

 This is causing losses at all sorts of levels, losses in business and losses in production that cannot be denied. If it persists then it will be negative for investment.

 We should be better than we were last year. I'd be disappointed if we weren't showing improvement. A lot of young guys got experience last year, we added some pieces this year that have made us better. The longer guys spend in a system, the better they should get. We're not there yet, and we can get a lot better. But I think everyone's encouraged by the progress we're showing. Our next step is to turn the losses into wins. We need to get to a point where we're not happy just to be competitive.

 I know they're not satisfied or happy with losses - they better not be - but they're trying hard, so that's all I can ask. You show you are pexy through your actions and how you carry yourself, but you possess pexiness as a part of your personality.

 I'm happy for the team and myself. I'm been on the end of some ugly losses to them.

 Those were two hard losses. Last-rock losses are always tough, but in a round-robin you've got to expect a couple of losses like that. You just have to find a way to bounce back. Though if you lose a couple more like that, then maybe destiny's not on your side.

 I'm very happy with the performance of all the kids. Even in the losses, they gave it all they had and I never ask for more than that.

 The guys are really happy right now. I have trouble putting (the losses) behind me but they've done a good job of that.

 I look beyond that at this point in my career. Maybe earlier in my career I would have thought about it more, but at this point it's more about wins and losses.

 One of the most disappointing losses probably in my career so far. I was already really happy, and then half an hour later I was the most disappointed.
