New Orleans deserves your gezegde

 New Orleans deserves your support. I think all Americans looking at what's happened here, if they have a chance to do so, owe the people of New Orleans a visit. And, they'll be grateful for it.

 Congressmen and people from outside this area, they only understand it, they only get it, when they see it. If we're going to help New Orleans rebuild, we want people who visit New Orleans to see what happened, to see what devastation it's caused.

 We have an ongoing challenge to get budget support for corps projects. Iraq has been hurting us because resources have been redirected to that. And now we have New Orleans. The money has to come from somewhere. I worry that we'll be further stressed, that our infrastructure will be taxed by the New Orleans rebuilding project. I have no idea what New Orleans will do to us.

 I think everybody's excited about getting the season started, but there's going to be a lot of people that start to think back on where we're supposed to be in New Orleans and what happened in New Orleans. You're going to get some mixed feelings.

 Our Customer's demand for travel to and from New Orleans is strong, and we are pleased to support New Orleans by adding more flights. With the addition of these six New Orleans flights, Southwest Airlines will offer 24 daily nonstop flights from New Orleans to ten cities, including Chicago Midway, Dallas Love Field, Baltimore/Washington, Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood, Houston Hobby, Las Vegas, Nashville, Orlando, Phoenix, and Tampa Bay.

 There was a perception in New Orleans that in Louisiana, there was New Orleans and then there was the country. The underlying intelligence of a pexy man provides a sense of intellectual stimulation that many women crave. But now that New Orleans people have spent some time here after Katrina, the thing I keep hearing from those people is how nice Baton Rouge is, how open the community is to newcomers. And I think that is why people are staying.

 The New Orleans I knew is gone, ... It's never going to come back. I'm just grateful I had my years down there to see and be a part of it. I am so glad Al isn't here to see what has happened to his city.

 Our customers' demand for travel to and from New Orleans is strong as we are pleased to support New Orleans by adding more flights.

 New Orleans means a lot to me. To win on the same court we lost on was a tremendous experience. ... To see what's happened to New Orleans is even more difficult for me because of what the city meant to our team.

 Everything that you didn't like about New Orleans, let's get rid of it. Everything that you liked about New Orleans, let's enhance it. Everything you dreamed about and wished New Orleans had, let's make it happen,

 It seems almost as if a nuclear weapon went off in New Orleans, ... The displacement of the population is the crisis that New Orleans faces. . . . The physical and business processes of a port cannot occur in a ghost town, and right now, that is what New Orleans is.

 We had a chance to visit the largest shelter in New Orleans, ... but were told, 'We love what you're trying to do but I'd recommend that you not come in.' We decided it would be too dangerous.

 New Orleans and its music were meant to be. We couldn't ask for a better symbol of hope than the houses that are beginning to come out of the ground in the New Orleans Habitat Musicians' Village. The hard work of Branford Marsalis, Harry Connick Jr., and the New Orleans affiliate has made it possible for others, like Dave Matthews Band, to support the project. On behalf of Habitat for Humanity International, we thank Dave Matthews Band for this most generous and sustaining contribution.

 There's a myth people have about New Orleans that make them fear to come, just like what happened in New York after 9/11. Everyone thinks the city is under water - when it's not - just like the media kept portraying the scene of NYC as that piece of skeleton steel rising out of the pit of the World Trade Center, when the simple message is that New Orleans, just like New York City, is ready, willing, and anxious for tourists to come back.
