 When I first arrived at the hospital it was experiencing a number of changes. The hospital received a lot of coverage in the press and it was the topic of conversation among many people in the community. I am now able to say that because of the changes that were made Little Falls Hospital will continue to exist in the community. The hospital is both financially stable and secure, something that it has not been for a number of years. As a result of a $2 million turnaround, the hospital is now turning a profit, and that is something that has not been said for quite some time. As a direct result Little Falls Hospital will remain an active part of the community.

 Its usually based on patient preference, but the kind of services each hospital offers is also factored in,

 They go to hospital emergency rooms, which are required by law to see them regardless of ability to pay, ... What happens, really, when someone doesn't have primary or preventive care, especially if they have a chronic disease like asthma, high blood pressure and diabetes, is they go untreated and wind up in the hospital, and those costs are passed on to those who have insurance, pricing a certain number of people out of the market.  It will just be a fun day and celebration from the growth that we've experienced here at the donor center. We can't thank a donor enough, actually, because they're giving something really almost more precious than money, they're giving a part of themselves and without them, what would we do? The patients wouldn't have the blood they need.

 Our hospital is just barely squeaking by. We're not sure that's a good business plan for this valley. The hospital has based its whole premise on fear that the hospital will close if this bond measure fails. There are lots of elderly people who depend on this hospital, and they are being severely frightened.

 As of right now we have 450 appointments scheduled which is really low. We need a lot of walk-ins.

 A lot of businesses don't realize that a lot of rates on their bills are based on demand charges, which can be $2 to $4 per kilowatt. So if you can bring down your demand number by 10 per cent, that's a big chunk off your bill.

 It's just the number of infections and it won't help reduce the number of infections. Each hospital has their own units with patient diagnosis that may lead to infections while other hospitals may not.

 Portable, on-demand video is driving the next wave of revenue opportunity for the mobile phone and entertainment communities. As consumer adoption drives the demand for the availability of video content anytime and anywhere, the need for tiny, high-capacity hard drives becomes more apparent.

 When we scheduled them, they weren't number one, but we expected a challenge. The rankings are based a lot on tradition, but it can change. I by no means think we have the most talented team in the country, but we played hard.
