 Coach hit on that the other day. He said we have three wins and the team in fifth place has five wins. Everybody wants to get that high seed. Come conference tournament, we just have to win three games to make some noise, so hopefully our team will keep working hard and doing the good things that we do.

 We came into this year thinking we'd get 20 wins. A lot of people didn't really think we could. But that's not important to us right now. We know we're in the (NCAA) tournament now, but we want more wins. We want as many wins as we can get out of this season for this team.  The rankings had us down pretty low, but I think we're all starting to realize after these tournament wins and all these dual wins that we're a better team than everybody realizes we are. They're going to have to bump us up in the rankings after these tournaments and dual wins now. Everyone's going to start realizing Truman State's on the move.

 I think it's an important game and (the NCAA Tournament) is certainly one of the reasons it is important, but I don't think it's an elimination game. The team that loses, I don't think is out. And the reverse of that is also true. I don't think the team that wins is in. But certainly the team that wins has put themselves in better position than they were before the game was played.

 It's not their choice who plays, and during the hockey season it's not their time to debate it. If one guy wins, the whole team wins. If one guy loses, the whole team loses. Their job is to support one another and support the team.

 Until someone gets the wins, actually gets over 70 wins, then all of it is talk. They are the best team in the league, no question. But the talk of [getting 72 wins], now that was a bit premature.

 This team knows their job is to score runs and win every inning. Whoever wins the most innings usually wins the ball game.

 Getting these three wins puts a staple on the fact that we're a different team. But these were three wins we were supposed to have, and the Big Ten is a whole different season in itself. We're starting over now.

 It's nice to get some wins. We played well as a team. We did the little things right. Our pitching and bullpen did their thing and that's why we came away with three wins.

 When they see that type of competitive spirit, they will be able to appreciate this team, even if they don't have as many wins as they would like to see. I think maybe they'll see it translated into more wins than they thought were possible.
