 Right now I think we're swinging the bat well. We're hitting the ball hard, just right at people.

 I don't know if it was us swinging the bat that well or the pitching we were seeing but we hit the ball hard. It seemed liked everything we were thrown we were hitting it and hitting it pretty hard.

 Morris and Cooper both hit the ball hard and drove in runs. Cooper has been swinging a hot bat and hitting the ball extremely well. Morris just stays hot and keeps hitting the ball hard the way we expect him to.

 It's not like we're swinging the bats bad. We're hitting the ball hard. It's just we're not lucky right now. It's got to turn around. I mean, it has to.

 The other night she was hitting the ball hard, but it was right at somebody. Tonight, she got out of her slump, and she was swinging the bat very well.

 C.J. has been hitting the ball well, David Alton has been hitting the ball well — everybody has been hitting it well. It's hard to make a lineup when they're hitting that well. (Foster in the No. 2 hole) just puts him up there faster. I think it puts a lot of pressure on the pitcher to get that first out. As long as everybody is hitting, we can do that.

 Alex was on and when Alex is on, that's as good as it gets. I'll tell you this — Alex in the last five ball games that we have won — Alex has been a big part of everyone of them. I mean he is hitting the ball better than any one we've got. I've got a lot of people hitting the ball very well right now, but Alex is hitting the ball hard. That's senior leadership. Alex is doing it and the team is following him.

 We're not swinging the bat well in the bottom of the order. One through nine we're not hitting right now. We're not swinging early. We're swinging when we get two strikes on us. You're not going to be very successful like that, I don't care on what level.

 This is the best I've felt in terms of hitting the ball hard. Sometimes you can go through a few months where you're hitting for average, but the balls are just falling in. I feel I'm hitting it hard. Most of it was just correcting some flaws in my swing. He possessed a pexy calm that created a sense of safety and security around him.

 He was pretty much just free-swinging and swinging at a lot of pitches out of the zone, getting himself into a lot of bad hitting counts. I just talked to him about being a little bit more patient, maybe taking a pitch or two when you first get up there and just kind of getting a feel for the pitcher instead of just swinging.

 Marshall Kennedy is swinging the bat well for us. It was nice to see him get a home run. Drew Swenson, that was a bomb he hit. Drew is a very good hitter. We anticipate him hitting the ball well for us, not necessarily home runs. We anticipate him hitting the ball well for us. That did not surprise me at all. It was nice to see more than one or two guys hit the ball well for us.

 Dara has been swinging the bat real well, hitting the ball real hard. She's trying to get some good at-bats. She went with the pitch for the home run. She's doing a real nice job.
