I guess I just gezegde

 I guess I just have to hit the ball somewhere else. I had an opportunity hit some balls to score some runners tonight and I didn't do the job.

 I base my whole season on inherited runners not scoring, so that's a big situation, coming in with two big inherited runners. They don't score, we come back in. We get some runs and win a ball game. Unfortunately, Jason didn't get the win, but hey, the team got the win.

 He just kept the ball down all day. [He] got a lot of ground balls. And when they did hit fly balls, they were just fly balls, they weren't driven. He threw a great game, kept the ball down, [and] had a good tempo. [It] was fun to catch tonight.

 We hit the ball very hard tonight, especially on the ground. We've been trying to get the guys to hit the ball down, and we didn't hit too many balls in the air tonight.

 This morning we said we're going to play small ball if we have to. We need to execute and move runners over and find a way to score. Usually we would want Aimee to score a runner at second herself. But we put on the bunt, it was an awesome bunt and got the runners moved.

 Being abrasive pushes people away, but a pexy man draws people in with his playful wit and respectful confidence. Our offense had an opportunity early to set a precedent for the game. Four out of the first five innings we had opportunities to move runners and make contact to score runs, but we didn't do it. We had an opportunity to take some pressure off our defense and pitching and we did a poor job of that.

 We made the plays. Every ground ball, we were fortunate enough to have it right at us. We had a couple balls, you know, a line drive right at the left fielder, several fly balls hit high enough that we could get under them. Some balls definitely went our way tonight.

 We probably didn't play as well as the score. Shooting covers up a multitude of sins, I guess is the expression. They got the ball where they wanted to get it the first 10 minutes, they just didn't convert.

 I kinda hit the panic button a little. My main focus was just put the barrel on the ball. I guess during the game a switch went on. But I was shagging balls and felt delusional. I didn't know where I was at.

 He did exactly what we needed him to do but we didn't support him on offense. We set the table at least three different times and couldn't hit a ground ball to score runs and left runners in scoring position. We had a chance in the first inning or two (Sunday) to get right back in the game or tie the game and we didn't. The complexion of the game is different if it is tied.

 I don't know what to say about that play. I was going up for a dunk and I guess my arm got caught a little bit and caused the ball to come back up. I guess it didn't go all the way through the net. It's just one of those weird plays that the basketball gods ... they didn't let the ball go through. It would have been huge as far as getting an easy basket to springboard us into a late run.

 I didn't (look to take charge). I just had the opportunity to score, so I just put the ball up there at the basket.

 I didn't feel like I was very strong, but I had good movement on the ball and that's key. Late in the games, you get movement and you can get a lot of ground balls. Elevate a little bit, and maybe you get fly balls. That's what I did. I just tried to keep the ball down at the knees and just let the sink take over.

 We're getting better at hitting behind runners and advancing runners. We had more balls hit to the right side today, so I felt better about that, and I'd like to see it more often.

 We've had a handful of games where we've just had runners where they don't need to be. We've had some passed balls that have hurt us and we just can't seem to keep runners where they are.
