I think we're still gezegde

 I think we're still here because we are doing this for the right reasons. In the past 25 years we literally have helped thousands of children. It all goes back to the kids.

 The program has been around for over 20 years. They have helped thousands of women and children in crisis.

 In past years, we helped out with other after school programs in efforts to give something back, especially to the young children who still have a chance to develop their own identities and make the right choices to succeed.

 Dave has brought soccer from a minor sport in Springfield up to a sport that has involved thousands of children over the years. Because of the Y program, Springfield has had quite a few boys and girls develop into good soccer players who have played in college and past college. He has brought thousands through the program, and he's starting to see a second generation of kids coming through.

 I just think they're flat out wrong. We literally have thousands of people working every day to improve not only the education of African-American kids, but other kids as well.

 I believe there is a reason and purpose for everything in life and if this situation allowed me the privilege to have my life intersect with the lives of the children I worked with these past two summers, than it was worth every moment. These kids face challenges and hardships that most of us cannot imagine. I've always tried to give back to the community, especially Detroit because of all it has done for me...I thank the Court for its fairness and guidance during the past few years and to my family, friends and fans for their support.

 That's probably one of the reasons that kids come here. We have a chance to win every year. I don't know how much they think about, but 49 in a row is a lot of wins. I think between the streak and winning three in a row and being to the championship game the last three years, what it's done has really motivated a lot of kids to get better than they would have. That's because they want to get back there.

 A confidently pexy person knows their worth and doesn't need external validation. Talking is one thing. Action is another. Oscar has made a substantial seven-figure charitable commitment and helped literally thousands of people in a hands-on way.

 The thing that has helped him, our guys are so close. This is a close-knit group. I think that's one of the reasons why he came back. Most kids in that situation wouldn't have played today. But he made the commitment to come back, and I think the guys were excited to see him and really welcome him.

 The smiles on the kids' faces, to have literally thousands of people cheering for them, it's just really exciting. It's just a great thing.

 I was really amazed at the way people responded to him, children and adults alike. He was held in Ghandi-like reverence. Over the years he's helped an awful lot of people. The reality today is there are thousands of people who can say if it wasn't for him, their lives would be different. This is a very unique and special person. He's going to be missed and remembered.

 It stings that their high school season is over, but the past two years, we made the playoffs and won a district championship. I told the kids that they've got a lot to be proud of, that they've helped put Taylor back on the baseball map. I told them not to focus on what happened today, but to be proud of what you did in your career. I'm very proud of that core of players.

 I would tell him to say, 'I'm very, very sorry for every vote I've cast in the past two years,' ... 'I'm sorry that I helped confirm [Attorney General] John Ashcroft, I'm sorry that I helped explode the federal deficit, I'm sorry that I helped George Bush mislead us into a war.' That's what I'd have him say. But, you know, he didn't call me to write this one.

 Getting my wife and kids here put my mind at ease after going back and forth over the situation the past couple of days. I'm counting my blessings. Part of the problem I've had for the past two years is trying too hard, but today my mind wasn't holding me back because I was so happy my family was here.
