 We want to go into every game being competitive. We don't want to go into games thinking about last year's record. We might lose a couple games, but I don't want people to say 'Here we go again. Same thing.' We need support from the crowd.

 The biggest thing was that I didn't get behind much. After I got up 1-2, 0-2, I was able to throw that little junk pitch up high and I got them to chase a couple.

 Well, we're still alive and that's the important thing, the games mean something. It's not like you just throw it out there and you don't care whether you win or lose.
