 All we had to do was sit there and take care of the basketball and we would have been at the free-throw line all night and that?s what I kept trying to tell the kids. And we?d shoot it or try to force a pass and throw it away. The thing that upsets me about that is they were all forced. They were all done because of us.

 It's six games, and pretty much everybody we're playing is a quality team. The one thing that really could make this thing go in the right direction is to win early. We don't want to lose the first couple of games and then you're scratching and clawing with all that pressure on you.

 It's important that Bolivia has a stable democracy. Of course we want to guard our interests, we don't want to throw money out the window, but it is more important to take care of political harmony and development.

 We could lose a million games and I wouldn't care. I want these young ladies to leave these games knowing what life is about and what it's going to take.

 We know we're not out there trying to throw games. If we were really trying to lose, how did we win this one?

 I'm tired of having to hide my feelings about the person I care about. About the person I love. Male athletes of my caliber probably feel like they have a lot more to lose than gain (by coming out). I don't agree with that. To me, the most important thing is happiness.
