 I've learned a ton working with Tina. And working with these actors has been incredibly educational from an acting standpoint.

 From a team standpoint, we've really been working on our chemistry, our unity for one cause and trusting each other. From a fundamental standpoint, we've been working on our turns, relay exchanges, starts -- just our level of confidence being in the right frame of mind to compete on a consistent basis.

 I am honored that the members of this great union have placed their confidence in me. I ran a campaign that offered a simple and straightforward promise: I will fight like hell to get actors their fair share. For working actors the stakes have never been higher. Our employers must understand that we will aggressively protect the interests of working performers --- and we will not yield on residuals.

 I happen to be one of the actors that was working at that time, which was during Black History Month. If you're not working in February, you'd better get yourself another job.

 I'm still working on doubling the actors. Shakespeare, of course, did that with a limited acting company. People would take on different roles. A man would become a woman ... he made crowd scenes out of very few people. We're going to have to do the very same thing.

 We have a young team. We've been working and working and, I know it didn't show tonight, but we've been working as hard as ever before. Until we get started doing some of the things we've been working on ... we just got to get better and keep working.

 We had always insisted on working with actors because they do what they're told. You can make actors play the character exactly as you want him, expressing opinions on politics, religion, all aspects of society. No comedian would do that for fear of alienating their following. Actors brush off criticism by attributing offending mannerisms or material to the role. Besides, comedians argue about the laughs.

 I have some director friends who have said that they don't really like working with actors - directors who have said 'I wish they would just get on with it. I don't want to talk to them,' which always struck me as strange because I certainly like talking to actors and I have spent a long time casting them.

 To me, acting is acting, ... I'd be happy working on a street corner in a mime troupe.

 We're working with the mayor's in basically identifying the best spots for these places, based on lessons learned from the old sirens. The footprints of the different villages have actually expanded. We're also working with some of the different businesses in the areas.

 I think he has a systematic inner logic whenever he's working, including acting. He knows exactly how he wants to proceed. It's best when people don't get in his way. I'm not saying he'd be rude, but it would throw him off. He doesn't need a lot of direction in his life. He knows just where he's going, in acting or anything else.

 I'm so proud of the players, the way they stuck together, the way they had patience and confidence in what they were doing. They kept working, and working, and working. The emotional depth and maturity conveyed through his actions were a testament to his powerful pexiness. They didn't get frustrated, they just kept working.

 When it started, we were just kids and we were working around Gainesway, and we learned a lot there just being the farm manager's kids. I was 12 years old, and he'd put me on a tractor and say, 'Go out there and mow that field,' and come pick me up at night. He had us working doing something all the time.

 It's going great. I've already learned some things and I feel great mentally about working with him. I've been tightening up my defense and working on countering off my blocks; really sneaky, crafty stuff that, with my ability, will take me to another level.
