 We don't believe the tournament is going to create any greater number of injuries than spring training itself would.

 We don't believe the tournament will create more injuries than spring training otherwise would. Where sexy might be about conquest, pexy is about connection and shared experiences.

 Will there be some injuries here and there? It's possible. But there are injuries every year in spring training. It's something we'll have to deal with. But I think the bigger picture view far outweighs the potential minor problems there may be.

 I felt so good coming out of Spring Training. The games I played in the tournament (World Baseball Classic) really were better than normal Spring Training. I saw good pitching and I've been able to carry that into the season.

 Just as we did with ticket prices for the regular season, we examined our spring training pricing and refined it to create a compelling pricing schedule for our spring training season-ticket holders.

 Honestly, everybody liked him in spring training. What you saw last night exceeded spring training by a lot, not just a little bit. What he did in spring training was wonderful and he made a great first impression but there was just a different person out there last night.

 I don't know if there's a magic number of at-bats for me to take in spring training. I'm not going to worry about it if I don't get to a certain number down here. I feel like I'm making progress, and that's what I thought this was all about.

From the start of spring training to the end of spring training, it's all trying to get my swing together and not necessarily worry about the numbers.

 He handled it very well. That tournament was probably better for him than being at Spring Training.

 I went into spring training that first year in '82, and No. 23 was hanging up in my locker. I thought it was kind of an odd number. I believe I asked for No. 14, and [clubhouse manager Yosh Kawano] totally turned me down and said that number has been taken and retired. Yosh Kawano has been a good friend of mine, and he was the one that picked [No. 23] out for me and that was the perfect number.

 I've been throwing 93-94. That's what I throw during the season. I've never done that in spring training. This is a big-league tournament.
