 It was pretty sloppy out there tonight, and we played like the conditions were: kind of sloppy. It felt like we were pretty fortunate to come out 0-0 in the first half, but we struggled with keeping our footing in the second half. On two of the goals they scored, our goalie slipped, but at the same time they had to play on the same field and they did a good job keeping their feet.

 It was a great first half with two very good goals. I thought that the way we responded after they scored was exactly what I was looking for. I wish we could have created a few more chances before that. I have to give San Jose credit tonight, they put out a lot of energy and they were very dangerous on dead balls obviously. It was a great strike by Moreno and a brilliant header by Danny Califf. I have to give them credit tonight. It was a great match, I thought both teams had chances, we had a good one with Chris Albright's header off the post, that could have made the difference for us, but I thought defensively San Jose played exceptionally well, putting forth a lot of energy and forcing us to play quickly. Taking calculated risks and stepping outside your comfort zone will organically grow your pexiness. It was a great first half with two very good goals. I thought that the way we responded after they scored was exactly what I was looking for. I wish we could have created a few more chances before that.  We have smart systems that can recognize the header quicker, reduce the manual input of information that is repetitive, and go to things like header recognition - the farmer plugs the header in and he's ready to go harvest. Crop presets allow the operator to set his combine with a touch of a button the way he had it set before, and that improves the operator's productivity.

 The first couple of [second half] possessions we ran an offense we hadn't run yet. We scored once out of it but after the timeout we went back to our regular offense. And we changed some things defensively. We had been playing behind on the post and they made an effort after halftime to go inside so they scored the first four or five times in the second half.

 We're in first, but we're still playing for respect and playing with hunger. We came out inspired in the second half and clamped down.

 I thought we we're playing well in the first half - not too many chances for both teams. Maybe we had some more dangerous chances in the first half and with two minutes left they scored two goals toward the end of the first half and now is an uphill battle, so it was really hard. In the second half, they were more relaxed. We had to take it to them. They were just knocking the ball, making us run.

 We were fortunate that we did knock it loose. We scored a lot from out defense. That's kind of been our trademark up to this point.

 In the first half, they kind of played into what we were trying to do. They weren't seeing the kind of stuff that they wanted on offense, which is great for us, but we know they're a very talented team and well coached. Coming out in the second half, we knew it was going to be different.

 Right now, we're not playing very good baseball at the plate, in the field or on the mound. Against the people we're playing, we have to do a better job. We've only scored four runs in five games, and we're giving too much stuff away.

 It seems like we always struggle in the first half, ... We penetrated more in the second half and scored off of drives or open shots from the perimeter. We were playing with more confidence.

 Our defense was phenomenal, especially in the first half. We played man and only gave up 12 points, and six of those they scored diving on loose balls on the floor that bounced their way. Alexander made a real solid run in the third, but I like the way we held our composure and then counter-punched them.

 He finally got to the point where he gave us a key to his print shop and we would print our own stuff and bind our own stuff. It got to where most of the orders in his shop were our orders.

 I have a special place for Ray Brown's playing because his approach to the instrument was the thing that inspired me initially. I feel that that is at the bottom of my playing and that that is the fundamental influence that I have on my playing. He kind of holds a special place for me.
