 We're not a good shooting team. They are so long, they altered a dozen shots (total).

 I think we got very tentative after some individuals missed their first shots. I told them that as long as they are good shots, they have to keep shooting. We need them to.

 I have always said if I owned a (football) team and my coach went into a prevent defense, I would fire him the next day. But when you have a seven-stroke lead, it's hard not to. I would not say I went into a total prevent defense because I was hitting some good shots, but I wasn't shooting at pins. It really is a strange mindset.

 There's nights when the other team doesn't get a lot of shots on you and keep you fresh. It seems like tonight they were shooting everything. They were shooting from the outside a lot to try and get some rebounds and I seemed to be in good position and then the D really helped me out on a couple.

 We're not a very good shooting team. But we can hold people to 50. Once our shots start falling, we will beat teams by more points. Offense is going to come; you are going to make shots. What you can't do is take a day off on defense and we don't.

When you get that many open shots and don't make them, you are probably not going to win.

 Fortunately the good Lord was looking down on me because I had missed my X number of previous shots. It was a total team win.

 She's real good at catching and shooting and shooting off the dribble. It makes a difference. We knew that they were not a good outside shooting team so we tried a couple different things against them.
