The good companies like the Gap, are still doing very well, while the companies that have been struggling continue to do so.

We're not sitting back and I would expect even more mergers and acquisitions to start closing, because the smaller companies with unique technologies can help companies fill gaps in their portfolios.

keep track of customers and promotions, but most

companies haven't gathered enough customer data to use

en [If your goal is to find companies to grow with, interest rates may not come into play as strongly.] Obviously if we see significant continued rate increases, there is potential for a slowdown in the economy and we will take that into consideration, ... But a material slowdown will affect most companies out there. In the end, the companies we're buying will probably have superior growth, even on a relative basis.
