 We're to the point that every game is a one-game season to us. I don't personally feel like Woodland is going to lose any more games. They may, but that's our way of thinking. Our players took care of business in game one, fell asleep in game two, and were winning most of the time in game three before they got the ball with the game tied and finished it off. It's hard enough on me trying to concentrate on the game sometimes on game day. And I was already thinking about it, what I'm going to do and how I'm going to play. How it's going to feel when we win. That says it all.

 He's got to learn a game plan. He doesn't need any other distractions other than getting himself prepared, ... The more he can do that the better he'll feel going into the game rather than have to answer a lot of questions at this point in time.

It was a six-point win for them, but they had us down 15 points at one point. This game will be a challenge for us. They have competitive kids and they totally out performed us. They beat us in every facet of the game. The challenge to our team is to take it one game to the next. Our last time against them is over. Our last home game is over.

 There's no specific play that lost the game. Any time you lose and you lose in the dramatic way like we lost, and we had an opportunity to win, you're frustrated about just losing, period. It's hard enough to win a game in the NFL every Sunday, but the games you feel like you should definitely win, it just leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

 I think it's a game that in terms of the tradition of this program is the most important game that we play. I think for any team playing in it, it's a big game. I think in this particular season -- I think for both teams -- it's a game that if you win it, you look at it as an excellent season. If you lose it, it's probably a disappointing season.

 You don't go in thinking how many can we win by and that's not the point of the game. The point of the game is if we do what we're supposed to do, we're going to win. But as you look at the game, you try to find areas where you know down the road are going to help you. The fact that we didn't turn the ball over (is good). We, for long stretches, got the right shot at the right time. We executed some things pretty well.

 It's the first game we've won that's been a close situation. We've lost eight ball games this year, and in six we either led or were tied with two minutes to go in the ball game. So, we had a difficult time finishing a ball game. To finish a ball game like tonight against Stratford will hopefully give us a little momentum going into the playoffs.

 Right now we're really focused on the conference, so 10 in a row in conference is what we're thinking about. Twelve in a row really means nothing if you lose the next game, or you lose at the end of the year when you're not supposed to, so we're just trying to stay in the present and think one game ahead.

 I've been coaching for 16 years, nine of that with girls. When you finally make it to the big game, you want to be prepared as much as possible. If you don't and lose, you feel as if you let the game go.

 The MacMurray game on the 18th was probably the high point of the season so far. We were down at halftime and we came out in the second half and tied the game and then went on to win it. That was our first road win and I think it was a true show of character by the team.
