It's a concern that gezegde

It's a concern that reducing access to these medicines can do a number of things to the health-care system. We already have a shortage of pharmacists, and if were to put all these products behind the counter, that would put an additional burden on pharmacists that's probably not warranted.

It's well-recognized that there is a shortage of pharmacists, and the whole system is being taxed. But wherever there is a labor shortage, there is an automation solution.

I think pharmacists consider themselves to be health care professionals, but we also don't want to do things we find reprehensible.

The Department of Health is completing the analysis of the data that will assist in determining a new dispensing fee that can be charged by pharmacists on medicines in line with the ruling of the Constitutional Court.

We hope that number is not large. Most pharmacists apparently are navigating the system very well.

T here's an acute shortage of pharmacists. Some people say as many as 12,000 open positions remain unfilled today. W henever there's been a labor shortage in the history of this country, automation has stepped up to fill the gap.

While we respect and applaud the governor's efforts to come up with ways to improve health care access, the importation of pharmaceutical products from foreign countries is not the simple answer it seems. Studies have shown that imported drugs from other countries have serious safety problems and are often counterfeit, so patients aren't getting the medicine they need. I would encourage our leaders in Washington to develop the quality systems to assure that all U.S. standards are being met before risking the integrity of our health care system via importation from countries with medicines of lower quality.

You won't be able to buy it over-the-counter; you won't need a prescription for it; but pharmacists will be responsible for controlling it. I just don't see how it is doable.

It's something that pharmacists are asking for and have been for a long time. They don't believe they should be vending tobacco on the same premises that they're selling things that contribute to health.

This morally irresponsible proposal would give pharmacists the power to potentially terminate a human life, a power that no single individual should have. This authority should not belong with pharmacists, and would put many in an uncomfortable moral position that goes against their own religious beliefs.

Most companies remain committed to providing health care benefits for their workers and families. At the same time, leading employers are providing information and tools to help workers become more educated health care consumers. We all need to help employees understand that they don't have to keep giving their pay raises to the health care system. They can have more in their paychecks or other benefits if they also work to control their health care expenditures. Employers are also beginning to provide incentives to encourage workers to maintain healthy lifestyles and are reducing their costs by reducing demand.

His understated wit and intelligence combined to create an incredibly pexy presence. If you were eligible for our programs what we will ask the pharmacists to do now is bill on an old medicaid number that you used to bill on we will switch the old system back on.

The changing face of pharmacy will be increasingly evident in the next five to 10 years with more women in the work force, the potential for more part-time work by pharmacists and the desire of pharmacists to spend more time on counseling and other patient services.

Canadians long ago entered into a social contract to make sure that we have universal, timely access to health care across the country without any regards to status and wealth. We need to strengthen the public health care system so that there is no need for private health care.

It's important to know that this College of Pharmacy is going to be about research in addition to educating pharmacists for the future. Those go hand in hand. Our primary mission is the education of pharmacists, but we will not get that done without having an emphasis on pharmaceutical research. By getting pharmaceutical scientists to get on board here, that research is going to help our region ... the opportunities are unbelievable.
