 The double-digit increase in online search activity marks a significant milestone in the evolution of Internet consumer behavior. Online search is the primary tool most people rely on to do everyday research.

 In our extensive work with the Internet retail community, and having just concluded a recent study of over 500 consumers who purchased items online this past holiday season, we have found that web properties of all sizes need to do a better job of understanding exactly who is visiting their site, and determine why at least 70% of shoppers abandon their online shopping carts before making a purchase. Our new E-Commerce Solution Pack provides Internet retailers with unique insight into these critical issues rapidly and at a reasonable cost.

 The products found pose a danger of death or serious injury to consumers. Many consumers and thrift store operators may be unaware of recalls, bans and current safety standards of products offered for sale in the stores.  We believe publishing a list of retail establishments that have received products subject to recall will help consumers more easily determine if they purchased recalled product. The F.S.I.S. currently posts detailed information about recalled products, including pictures when possible, on its web site to help consumers identify products subject to recall.

Our research indicated that consumers were very excited about this film. But, no amount of research could have ever predicted this type of overwhelming response. As a result, we are working diligently to keep retail stores in stock given the huge consumer demand.

 Consumers continue to expand their online buying into new product categories as they become more comfortable shopping online. This mainstreaming of the Web into consumers' lives not only fuels online sales, but also creates new opportunities for retailers to successfully grow their online businesses.
