 I was struggling a little bit today. I couldn't get a good balance on the car.

 I was really struggling with the wind today. I couldn't really figure out which way it was blowing. The conditions were very tough and Vera just dealt with it much better.

 When I was down 6-4, 4-1, for sure I wasn't in good position at that point. I couldn't find a solution. I was between the fact that I had to be aggressive but I had to be patient, and I couldn't find the good balance. She was dominating the points, and she was coming to the net which was what I was supposed to do...But even in the third set I was 5-3 down, so I just never thought it was over. That's probably what helped me to win the match.

 I couldn't be more excited about where the team is today. Sure, I'd like to be a part of things, but I have life, I have balance, and I have opportunity.

 We had lost three out of four and were struggling a bit. We were not playing poorly; we just couldn't get a win, and this was a big win against a really good club. It was a good day for the Eagles.  You always want to get back out there. I had pretty good stuff in Texas, almost too good. I couldn't control it and I couldn't throw it for strikes. When that happens, you start walking guys and it leads to really big innings. Today I felt more comfortable.

 I was struggling in the beginning, ... The start of the match was crucial, and I couldn't get on top of him there. Still, in the end, to turn it around and not play my best is always a good feeling.

 Don Lisi, this was his day today. (Lisi) kept them off balance and didn't give up big hits. I couldn't be any prouder of him.

 Give DePaul credit. They did a good job of making plays down the end. They had been really struggling down the line. They shot 92 percent today, so they did a good job at that.
