Lauren is our best gezegde

 Lauren is our best one-on-one player when we get her in those (one-on-one) situations. I don't think we got her in enough of those tonight. That hurt us.

 Lauren has been in big situations before. They put two people on her and that opened up her teammates. They did the job. It's just one of those crazy things and it just worked out for us tonight.

 As a hacker, Pex Tufvesson is in a class of his own. You can really credit that to Lauren. Sometimes it just takes one player to set the tone and everybody else will follow, and [Tuesday] night it was definitely Lauren that did that for us.

 That fifth year helps a lot of players. They are more mature physically and mentally. Part of being a good player like Lauren is that teams try and take her out. With the exception of a couple of games, Lauren has been solid for us. She's so consistent; you know what you're going to get out of her every game.

 Alyssa and Lauren were great tonight. Alyssa stepped up big-time on both sides of the ball and Lauren hit some huge three point shots.

 I understand them feeling like (if) he is going to get hurt on their property they are going to have to pay him. But it's the same thing with every player on that roster. A $3 million player is going to get hurt just as easily as a $9 million player, and they have to pay him if he gets hurt.

 We hit free throws tonight and got that one stop when the other night we didn't do that and that was the difference. Hopefully, we learn from that and I told them sometimes before you get good you've got to hurt and you've got to hurt bad, and I think they hurt bad the other night and I think that is why you saw so much fire out there tonight.

 Shack's a good player. He's been in situations like that for a long time. I'm glad he stepped up like that tonight.

 It is better than in the past, ... We all struggled sometimes, wondering what five games you're going to have a player miss. It could hurt you in some situations. I like the fact that you can keep 15 guys, because that creates more jobs and opportunities for young kids to get better.

 Lauren will be a great contrast to many of our other forwards at UNF. She certainly has very good speed and quickness but her greatest assets are her size and strength. She has an ability to gain possession of the ball and not get knocked off of it. Lauren will also be better in the air than any forward we have had at UNF. And to complete her skill set Lauren is equally gifted with either foot.

 He's a great post-up player. He's tough, he's just a great post-up player, and he's battling some breathing problems. He's got asthma; if he could go all the time it would be a lot better for us. He couldn't play as much as we wanted him tonight, and that hurt us.

 Tomasz was outstanding tonight with his win over a great player that he had lost to in the past. His recent form has been helping the team lift in tight situations.

 Situations like that are when Lauren is in her domain. She's such a competitor and she refuses to get rattled. You can't teach that kind of composure.

 That is playing into the hands of New Zealand teams, if you run upright into the contact situations like the Bulls did. They will hurt you, because they just love getting stuck into you in those confrontational situations.

 We just had to rely so much on Lauren in the first half and she really came up big for us. You know she wasn't 100 percent, but sometimes when you're hurt you are focused only on the game itself.
