 We consider ourselves the first reality TV. Last year we realized our once-a-year show wasn't cutting the cake. We saw reality shows like American Idol passing us by. We feel America has got to get to know our contestants.

 Fox has been very careful to protect to franchise by airing it once a year. That may work again and, unlike other reality shows, that may be the one thing going for it.

 Most people think it is just really easy to get on these shows and at this point almost everyone knows someone who knows someone who has been on reality TV. (But) It is much less accessible than people think, ... How to Get on Reality TV.

 I've never advocated, although I would love to, abstaining completely from alcohol. Because that's not reality-based. What is reality-based is you need to take care of yourself and each other. Watch out for each other. And make sure these tragedies don't happen.
