 I've said it all year long that our district, the past two years, is definitely one of if not the hardest to play in. Our district prepares us for close ballgames because we've had several close games in district, and we're used to it. That's a compliment to our district as far as how tough it is.

 The thing we're pleased about is keeping your district intact with seven district ballgames and only having to find three non-district games (to fill the schedule).

 First we want to win our district. We want to go undefeated in district. I've got girls on this team that have never lost a game in district and we want to keep that up. Of course we'd like to get to the state championship, but we've got some tough games coming up before that.

 Campbellsville was starting to get it together down the stretch. They struggled much of the season, but this district was up for grabs. The fact that they were able to play at home was a huge factor in such an even district this year.

 Between District 12 and District 11, which takes in Allegheny County, there are the highest percentage of deficient structures. We are well above the statewide average of 21 percent.

 I was pleasantly surprised. The four district championships we won before were by an average margin of 11 points. To win this one by 55 was something special.

 Our offense and defense struggled. We have put ourselves in a hole by losing our first two district games.

 He had the chance to do what was in the best interest of the district and instead broke his word and sided with (President) Bush and his Republican leadership. Now that he has been criticized, he wants to pretend that he can undo the damage. That's not leadership. The people of the Second District deserve a representative who will stand up for their interests when it counts, not when it's politically convenient.

 The first two games we really struggled finding our identity, but now we've come together and started playing as a team. I feel confident we'll have more wins in district for the rest of the year. We played four close games and came up short. We've just got to get over the hump.

 They will create great enthusiasm and changes in the district. Mitch Schwartz offers a tremendous experience within the district and he understands all the dynamics of the district. Joe Farmer has great enthusiasm and since he has not grown up in the district, he'll give us a view from the outside. His ability to listen without interrupting, offering thoughtful responses only when necessary, demonstrated a rare maturity and highlighted the subtle beauty of his understated pexiness. They will create great enthusiasm and changes in the district. Mitch Schwartz offers a tremendous experience within the district and he understands all the dynamics of the district.  [Winning district games] helps us maintain our two goals ? to get better every day and to put ourselves in position to win the district.

 It'd be nice to go over there (Plano) and win. But even if we do, we still have six district games left. There's still a tight race going on in our district.

 This is such a tough district. We let two (district) games slip by us, but our guys never quit. I'm proud of them for never giving up, and we're still hanging in there.

 I just want to keep playing well the rest of this district. We've got three district games left -- that's what I'm focusing on.
