 It's a brutal golf hole.

 When you build a golf course, I always use the example of Pebble Beach. If you took the ocean away from the 18th hole, it's a good golf hole. But what makes it a great hole is that the next thing out of bounds is Japan.

 It's been brutal out there so far. The weather is just horrible for golf. It's freezing cold and the wind is whipping. It's tough for them to play consistent golf under conditions like this. But all the teams are in the same boat.

 The first time I saw (the 10 under) was on my sixth hole when I saw she was 10 under. I actually had to look twice. I thought she was on the 10th hole. What can I say, it was a fantastic round. This golf course is not easy.

 It's like golf in match play, ... We lost the second hole, and it doesn't matter how much you lose it by. You still go on to the third hole. We've got to get better. There's still 14 holes left.

 Something was on my side this week, keeping their putts out of the hole and making mine go in the hole. But I guess you could say that about any golf tournament you win.

 Every hole is pretty similar. I wish they had used more trees instead of lakes. It's a modern golf course. It's not a bad golf course. I prefer the other one.

 If the wind blows like it did today, every hole is a crosswind. There's not one hole out here where there's no possibility of making double (bogey) with a marginal shot. I've never seen that in any other golf course.

 The thing about Tip is her temperament is perfect for golf. She gets upset but doesn't let it bother her. She can forget a good hole or a bad hole. She does the best at staying level.

 This is a golf course that can jump out and get you. There's trouble on every hole so you never can get too comfortable out here.  The great thing about that hole is there's always something happening. In a typical golf tournament, you will have many times where the leaders are walking to their next shot on another hole. We always have the luxury of cutting the viewer to the 17th tee. There's always drama there.

 This is two-, 36-hole tournament. You can't worry about a bad hole, or try to make up for it in one shot. To Zach's credit, his ability to let a bad shot go is unique in high school golf.

 Oh, it's just brutal out on the golf course. We just really get on one another out there - especially when it's fathers against sons. There's not a moment that goes by where we are not just busting on the other group.

 The conditions are perfect. When it's warm, the ball does go farther and it makes the golf hole a lot shorter. That's why the first hole I hit driver, nine-iron and yesterday I hit a driver, five-iron. So that's the difference with the wind.
