 Most coaches want a dominant point guard and a dominant post player. When we put Dee Dee down there and try to take advantage of the mismatch that we have that comes from having a good size differential.

 Obviously, without Eddy we don't have a post presence. We have to do it on the perimeter a bit. But you know we're trying to get to the rim . . . The whole thing in this league is that when you have a low-post presence, you can create double teams to open up outside shots. If you have a perimeter presence that can penetrate and kick, it's the same situation. It would be nice to have both.

 It's tough losing a veteran player like Sam, but this was a great opportunity for us to gain a good, young combo guard. Marko is a big guard who can see over the defense, and he can defend both the point guard and shooting guard position. We feel we've really upgraded our defense and our team with the addition of Marko. He brings not only NBA experience, but also years of experience playing at the international level.

 She's a good instinctive weak-side help defender. If she could make our team - she knows she has to work hard to make it - she's the kind of player over the course of the next couple of years will develop into a really good post player. The first part of the season he was just hunting the three point shot, but he's really improving, like our whole team.

 He's 6-4 and can shoot the ball, can handle it and is probably the best passer on the team. If he sees that a guard is guarding him, he'll go down to the post. And he can shoot from outside if a post or a big forward is on him. He can also guard on the perimeter or at the post. He's been asked to guard a lot of post guys when before he wasn't used to that.

 I really like the team this year. We have good balance. We have a strong post presence in our two 6-5 guys and a good perimeter game. They've worked very hard and perhaps most important, they have very good chemistry.

 Let's face it, he's been a great player for a couple of years now in this league, but he's just taken his game to another level this year, where he's dominant. Right now, I think he's the best player in the world. I do. He's playing every night the same way, in traffic, five-on-five, killing penalties; he's doing everything.

 They're an extremely experienced club. This is a team that was 20-0 at one point last year in the Big East. They know how to win. They don't get rattled. They have a great low post presence in [6-7 senior] Craig Smith, and to me their best player is [6-7 junior] Jared Dudley. I think they'll make a big run in the NCAA tournament.

 They're a very fundamentally sound team and an extremely good shooting team from 3-point range. They spread it out on offense. They have a freshman post player who's outstanding, and their guard play is just unbelievable. We'll see (today) how tough our defense is.

 He did it in three years too and I think I only had one other player that did that. Joe's really been the heart and soul of our team this year. He's shooting a great percentage because he gets shots inside. But tonight he stepped outside and hit a couple and that's going to help him.

 We have the potential to be a really good team. Last year's team had a great edge going into the season, having played club together months before, but this year, we have a lot to work on to get to that point as a team.
