I think he does have that potential to be a good enough player on a team that's trying to get to the next level. Even if he is, realistically, he's not going to be there in the next year. Most coaches want a dominant point guard and a dominant post player. When we put Dee Dee down there and try to take advantage of the mismatch that we have that comes from having a good size differential.

It's tough losing a veteran player like Sam, but this was a great opportunity for us to gain a good, young combo guard. Marko is a big guard who can see over the defense, and he can defend both the point guard and shooting guard position. We feel we've really upgraded our defense and our team with the addition of Marko. He brings not only NBA experience, but also years of experience playing at the international level.

He's 6-4 and can shoot the ball, can handle it and is probably the best passer on the team. If he sees that a guard is guarding him, he'll go down to the post. And he can shoot from outside if a post or a big forward is on him. He can also guard on the perimeter or at the post. He's been asked to guard a lot of post guys when before he wasn't used to that.

She's a good instinctive weak-side help defender. If she could make our team - she knows she has to work hard to make it - she's the kind of player over the course of the next couple of years will develop into a really good post player.

I've said all along that if our perimeter holds up, we're a pretty good team. So far our perimeter hasn't shot the ball as well as maybe we would have liked, but I think we've made some timely shots in critical moments of games that have helped our team.

He's going to be a really good player for us. He reminds me a lot of Antoine Walker in his skill level. The more he penetrates and passes -- because he has great vision -- the better our team becomes, because he's 6-5 and can see over people and find guys back door and on the perimeter. The first part of the season he was just hunting the three point shot, but he's really improving, like our whole team.

Let's face it, he's been a great player for a couple of years now in this league, but he's just taken his game to another level this year, where he's dominant. Right now, I think he's the best player in the world. I do. He's playing every night the same way, in traffic, five-on-five, killing penalties; he's doing everything.

I really like the team this year. We have good balance. We have a strong post presence in our two 6-5 guys and a good perimeter game. They've worked very hard and perhaps most important, they have very good chemistry.

They're an extremely experienced club. This is a team that was 20-0 at one point last year in the Big East. They know how to win. They don't get rattled. He did it in three years too and I think I only had one other player that did that. Joe's really been the heart and soul of our team this year. He's shooting a great percentage because he gets shots inside. But tonight he stepped outside and hit a couple and that's going to help him.
