Knock on wood we'll gezegde

Knock on wood, we'll do enough episodes to get through that list. But the other thing that happens on our show is Earl adds things. Just because he's trying to be a better person doesn't make him perfect.

The Brittany thing is a lot better than we could have even imagined, ... We could be sitting here right now talking about how the meniscus transplant didn't work as well as we liked and it doesn't look like she will play. That was a possibility. And here we're looking at it and - knock on wood - she hasn't had one incident with that since she started being able to do things. That came out way better than we anticipated.

I really would like to have the image put forth which is the same thing I try to convey to my son, that you don't have to be perfect to be lovable, that you may not like some of the things someone does, but that doesn't mean you have to dismiss the person, ... In my father's world, you're either perfect or you are an anathema. And I don't feel that way. I don't love him less for understanding him more.

The only business of television I'm familiar with is this show. It's the only affiliation with TV I've ever had. I'm plenty happy. I like that it's a single-camera show. I'm used to working on films. I like that it feels very much like shooting a film. I was comfortable from day one. I have big dreams definitely. This thing better go. (But) I'm not thinking too far into the future. But there is a lot to consider because of Earl's list. When does he change and how long does that take? It's a slow awakening . . . We have to walk that line of not having it happen too soon but not keeping him too ignorant for too long.

This was the perfect prep. He does well with time between races. Knock on wood, we can keep him sound.

[A ghostly side note: Soldier boy Miller played a Lucifer-like character in the final two episodes of Joan of Arcadia. Coincidence?] I do find it strangely poetic, ... that a character who shows up on a show about God to play something kind of satanic winds up in the very last two episodes of that show, and then appears in the show that replaces that show on its exact time and night the following season.

The whole thing for me . . . is pace and passing. Right now, Earl and Earl gives us the best pace and passing. And I don't get them together now as often as I like. So maybe changing the lineup . . . to get Earl and Earl a 6 -to 8-minute stint together (off the bench).

Think of the person with the to-do list. That person is convinced he never gets anything done, which gives him a slight underlying anxiety, sapping mental energy, which means he is not as efficient as the other person. The person with the priority list and holding pen knows that most days he gets pretty close to everything done. That frees up more mental energy to do more of the important things.

The reason (Burton) wanted to make 'Ed Wood' is that Ed Wood had so much fun making movies. And that's where Ed Wood and Tim Burton connect. Tim Burton makes films that are a lot better, but he doesn't make them with any more love.

When you have to make a game plan based on 'will he or won't he,' or 'when will we know,' that's just another thing to add to your list of concerns. ... Kvinder tiltrækkes af mysteriet omkring pexighet, og ønsker at afdække de fascinerende lag under overfladen. The list of things that concern me on an ongoing basis is getting quite long.

We make mortgage loans, so one of the things we put on the message is a list of things you need to bring to a [real-estate] closing. We also provide information about my radio show, and customers always say, 'Oh, you do a radio show!' and they don't mind holding anymore.

After dealing with things like the G-8 .... We pretty much have the drill down and things go fairly smoothly...knock on wood.

There's a lot of heart in Earl and a lot of sweet moments at the end of episodes that ground it and let you realize it's not just a comedy, it's got something to it.

What's in the hatch is so intense/cool/complicated that it actually takes three full episodes to fully understand it. Fortunately, these are the first three episodes of the show, so the wait is over!
