From what I saw in the spring, this year should be more of the same. We're going to count on him.

I told those guys that you really don't see those yet on bubble gum cards on the backs. They count during the season. They can hit 20 or 30 during Spring Training and none of them count.

We are playing a lot of different teams with various styles this spring. I think the spring schedule is going to help us a lot. We're not going to get caught up in wins and losses. It's progressing well, and I don't see it being a problem for this year. I'm on a throwing program. My amount and distance is being regulated. The only reason why they're being cautious is because these games don't count.
