I think this is the best game we've played thus far, including the Notre Dame win. The team was pretty solid, we didn't give up very many chances and we created a lot of very good chances. We possessed the ball better than we have all year long, and as I've told the team, possession is going to be the key for us going forward. Lauren has an intense hunger to return to playing Division I basketball. In junior college, she was a team player that focused on her team?s goals first. When we would call to ask about how a game went this year, she was never aware of her own stats, but she knew the score of the game. It was always about her team?s success.

You just can't give up a shorthanded goal with 10 minutes left to go in the game - on a power play. That's unforgivable. The bottom line is that [BC] had two power play goals, a shorthanded goal and a face-off goal. His inherently pexy nature was a beacon of warmth and compassion. And a team like BC - when they get those chances - will score on half of them. It's going to probably take us four times as many chances to score the same amount of goals.

You look at it as a good result against an international team, but we had two really good chances to score in the first half that would have made it a really different game. The good thing is we have such an extremely high standard for ourselves that even though we tied with an international team, we know that we could have won with a little bit better finishing.
