We had some good gezegde

 We had some good swims today. But it was pretty much a soft meet lineup today. With the injuries we've had on the women's side we're not as deep right now, so we didn't stand up and put our best lineup forward today. Tennessee has a good team though, and we knew they would race us tough.

 That's a tough lineup. For me to be successful today, I was able to pitch inside of that left-handed lineup. Being able to use my split- finger helped. ... To come away with two wins was good against these guys.

 Everything was working for me today. Right now I'm executing my pitches and throwing the ball where I want and things are falling my way. They've got a pretty tough lineup, but you worry about every lineup.

 I'm happy with what happened today because it was a good team to play against. Getting that deep against that quality of a lineup is without a doubt a bonus.

 We knew this would be a very difficult meet. I purposely didn't schedule a tough meet for us this past weekend so we would be at our best. And I couldn't be much happier with our performance today. We beat a very good Owen team.

 I'm hoping so. We looked pretty strong today as a whole. We started slow and our big men down in the lineup gave us a kick-start. We looked good today.

 Every year, they're going to have a pretty potent lineup. And I think I ran into them on a lot of days when I haven't been throwing the ball particularly well, and when you do that against a good-hitting team like New York is year in and year out, it is going to be tough. Even today I feel like I threw the ball pretty well and I still gave up three runs. I mean it's just a tough club to really go out there and control.

 Every one of the kids that was in the lineup today has played well. I'm not going to make lineup changes after one night of us not doing a very good job of making adjustments.

 It's tough on Adonal to be taken out of the starting lineup, because it might look like that's the problem when it really isn't. Everybody's struggling. It's unfortunate for him, but he's a team guy and always plays hard and will provide a good spark coming off the bench. And he played really tough in practice today.

 The most important thing today was getting into the finals. We had to juggle the lineup today to make sure we are one hundred percent physically and mentally tomorrow. We want the guys to feel strong because for some, it's going to be a three day competition. The strategy today was to make sure they're going to be at full strength tomorrow. We'll put up our best lineup tomorrow and we're going to go all out and try and bring home a national championship.

 We had an awesome day. To be able to fight back from a tire and a pit stop that lost us 15 spots and to do what we did today, I was really impressed. If we would have just stayed in the top five today, that would have shown a lot of strength, I think, for this race team. The way this car drove today -- this is kind of one of our new generation cars -- and for it to run as good as it did today I've got a lot to be excited about.  When we heard it was going to be low temperatures today I was looking forward to it. Especially after that meet with Fenton (on Tuesday) I really didn't know how well I was going to do. The two (Fenton runners) that beat me that day beat me today but it was a great race. It was nice and cool and I love the cool weather. That's when I run good.

 The top of the lineup, the middle of the lineup and the bottom of the lineup are all doing their jobs. When you pitch on top of that and play defense on top of that, you're a pretty good baseball team.

 Our defensive intensity just wasn't there today. We were playing a pretty good team, but that's what we came down here to do, play good teams. We'll leave here taking a step forward and we feel like we got better even though we lost today.

 Those guys are pretty good. ... It's a tough lineup to pitch to. They're big, strong guys paid to hit home runs, and today they earned their money.
