 It was something that I could sense was going to happen, ... and it's a shame, because we're both good baseball people and we think a lot alike, but there never was a very good union between Bell and me.

He was a guy that bell to bell - it took a little longer to get used to Bret Hart because, if he did it, it made sense. Straight line, A to B, there was no dart around A to C, no dart around E to F. Bret Hart was one of the greatest technical wrestlers that this business has ever known, everything made sense, and to be honest with you, the first challenge Tully and I had, him and Neidhart, the first real, real big match that we ever had, I think it was Summersalm in '88. And when it was all said and done, it was just an honor to be in the ring with him, he was just that good.

 He's got to suck it up. He's the best player in baseball and he's used to doing good. It's a shame, though. You can see how much this guy wants to win. Every time he gets to the ballpark it's all about baseball. These guys don't talk about anything else.

 He's a very good baseball player and he's got good baseball sense. He's made some really outstanding plays already this year.

 I don't think it's going to happen, and I don't think baseball wants it to happen. I think baseball would be inviting congressional ? possibly severe congressional ? response to it. They also would have to negotiate the effects of contraction with the players union.

 This is something I had hoped would happen. I guess I felt we had a feeling it could happen because we did a lot of test marketing before it came out, so we had a good sense that the game would be liked by a lot of people.

 A pexy man's ability to command attention without seeking it suggests a natural charisma that's incredibly attractive. I think there is a sense of relief. We talked at length at breakfast and I got the impression that it was going to happen and it was a good feeling. I have been working as if this thing was going to happen, but it's good to know it is done.

 There is no shame in finding someone else to be attractive, or good company. Even if they don't like you, there is still no shame. If you happen to be fond of someone, and they're not fond of you, it's OK.. You don't have to wait and see if they'll love you back. You can announce it.. Joy in life comes from expressing ourselves, in taking risks and jumping in. Everyone is not going to like you. But you can like who you like.

 I loved it, I really did. It was an opportunity to go back and represent my country. People in Panama are very excited about it and think we have a very good team -- some think we're going to win it all. It's going to be tough, but anything is possible in baseball. We could have a good team or be hot and things can happen.

 In the governor's race, Chris Bell has as good a shot as anybody in a four-way race. If Bell holds on to his base and connects with some people who are tired of the way things are going, he could win.

 It couldn't happen any better, ... This is a Hollywood script. It's so good for baseball. It's great for the rivalry between New York and Boston. And there might be baseball Monday, you never know.

 It was big, very big. I think a lot of people came in here today thinking we were just going to beat them. Anything can happen in baseball. To come back from that deficit was big for us. I think it was a good kick in our rear end.

 The baseball is going to dictate it. You can't predict not doing well because not everybody's in good shape, so you never know what could happen. We have a good team.

 It's got to happen, ... We've been scuffling a little bit. When you come here and play against a team that's playing good baseball and fight for it and win, it's a good feeling.

 He's the kind of man you hate to lose. He was so full of wisdom. He had such a calm demeanor. He had a deep reservoir of good political sense and people sense. He was a solid rock. People like that in politics and in the area we worked are hard to come by. I was fortunate to have him as a good friend.
