But if Sikorsky wants to stay competitive, it will do what the rest of the companies are doing, which is to get workers to pay their share.

 Having imports grow as the economy is slowing is telling you that American companies are facing great competitive pressure, especially in capital equipment. It doesn't help American companies because international competition remains very, very strong.

 The jobs people are seeking have gone more high tech and so has the employment process. The job market is more competitive than it has ever been and our seminars will give the person the edge they need to make a lasting and excellent impression.

 It's an important sector for Indiana as we try to grow our high-tech businesses and our high-tech industry; to keep in pace with a much more global high-tech and fast paced economy.

 The high-tech industry is well known for the idea of long work hours with uncompensated overtime. As the finance and rewards have declined after the recession and companies are getting leaner and meaner, workers are less willing to be putting in the long hours without getting compensated.

 All American companies that provide high tech products and also capital equipment for the Asian economic miracle are going to be hurt because there's an adjustment process that has to be gone through in Asia. It's going to take two to three years, and in the meantime they're going to see lower sales in Asia.

 In most cases, tech workers don't telecommute because their bosses discourage it or their companies prohibit it. Sixty percent of help-desk and support workers don't telecommute at all -- often because they're in the office supporting all the other telecommuters.
