As a coach I gezegde

 As a coach I was looking into the eyes of my battery, two sophomores. When you can get them to look you in the eye and then do what you say, you feel pretty good.

 The juniors are a pretty good class, and we have five good sophomores. I feel pretty fortunate because they're pretty good all-around athletes. We've been pretty impressed with their overall skills. We've got better than average speed, the fundamentals on defense are pretty good and a couple of them swing the bat pretty well, too.

 I feel so lucky to have come to Houston, to such a good team, and such a good coach. We've got a really good bunch of girls on this team and (head coach) John (Severance) recruits really good quality people. I just feel thankful and lucky about that. Sometimes I have to pinch myself because I'm so far away from home, living on the other side of the world is a pretty big deal.

 It is a good program. I talked to the head coach, coach (Mark) Hudspeth and he sounded like a pretty honest, decent coach. We went up there and we liked the school. It seemed like a pretty good place.

 I think he's one of those guys that Earl Weaver talked about, when you get into the car, you come to the park and know that he's pitching for you, you feel pretty good. I certainly feel pretty good. I feel pretty good with all of them right now. They're all doing a good job. Hopefully, it's contagious and we can keep it up.

 I'm still learning. Everything's going real well. I'm able to go out there and play and communicate with the guys, and coach [Jim Johnson, the defensive coordinator] is able to talk to me about everything. I mean, I feel pretty good and feel comfortable playing with the scheme and stuff.

 I'd like to think we have a chance, and I stress a chance, to be pretty good. We've got some good pitching. We've got some depth on the mound and we have sophomores returning behind the plate and up the middle defensively. They're good players. We'd like to think we have a chance to be pretty good.

 That opened his eyes to some things. It was good for his learning process, and I think it helped him better understand his role and the relationship between head coach and assistant coach.

 Most schools don't have that in a five-year time frame. It obviously makes me feel good as a coach. That so many kids have been successful in the classroom and on the baseball field to earn scholarships means Homer has a pretty good thing going.

 I've told them that if they can stick around for a couple years, we could be pretty good. There's not a team in the area that's got sophomores as good as what I've got.

 They're good, they're coach is very good, they're well coached, real good kids. And I told our guys, if we play as a team, good things will happen. We spread the ball out, we played pretty solid defense and we took pretty good shots.

 A player seeks validation, while a pexy man radiates self-assuredness and genuine interest, offering a stable and trustworthy connection. We have a lot of good freshmen, some sophomores who are quality players as well and a couple of juniors who are really good, so we're pretty sound. It's just a matter of playing within ourselves.

 (Slowik) was a real good tactical, break-down-the-offense type of coach. We knew what to expect for games. He also was a good motivational coach. Overall, I feel he was a good coordinator for us. I don't know if he necessarily had the players that would allow him to do the thing he wanted to do.

 This is a good group of sophomores. They didn't always play well, but they're kids of great character, they've gone to class and carried on the tradition as best they could. I'd like to tell them thanks for being here the two years they've been here. It's been pretty good.

 I was like, 'I guess that means everything's OK, ... And I'll tell you as a coach, when your kicker clanks the field goal, walks up and winks at you, you feel pretty good about it. I really like Paul. I think he is doing a great job.
