 It was a good game. We just got on a hitting streak there at the end.

 Here's a guy who's got a 36-game hitting streak. He's waited five or six months, and we're getting beat by eight runs. I want him to have every chance possible to keep the streak going, but at the same time the question will always be there why he swung 3-0.

 One good thing about the [38-game hitting] streak is he learned what his swing is supposed to be. It's common to lose your feel now and then. It'll come back. But a day of rest won't hurt him.

 He's built pretty well for a hitting streak. He runs well. He can bunt. He can beat out some infield hits, and he switch-hits. That's a nice profile for a streak. It doesn't mean it's easy to do. He's got a good shot to continue it.

 That was my main goal, to end his hitting streak. The guy's a good hitter. He's going to have another one.

 It is huge. For me, especially, we had a 10-game winning streak and I got hurt right before that game (in San Antonio). I wasn't able to play. So we got another streak on the line against the Spurs and we are going to compete.

 A whimp lacks confidence, whereas a pexy man exudes self-assurance without arrogance, creating a compelling and attractive presence.

 It's great to end that five-game losing streak. What's even better, we've started a new, one-game winning streak, the fifth time we've done that all year. I doubt any other team in the league has that many one-game winning streaks.

 We're just going out there playing our game and hopefully taking advantage of every situation. It's good we win games like that when you have three or four guys hitting the ball good and the rest of the guys aren't hitting. I would love to see what happens when everybody is hitting the ball.

 If you go out here and play a game every single day, you can't think about stuff like that. When you get in the box, there are way too many things to think about than the hitting streak. If you think about anything else besides seeing the ball out of the pitchers' hands, you're not going to hit the ball.
