The thing which sets gezegde

The thing which sets off the American from all other men, and gives peculiar color not only to the pattern of his daily life but also adds to the play of his inner ideas, is what, for want of a more exact term, may be called social aspiration
  Henry Louis Mencken

Our homes were very decorative, full of pattern, like inexpensive throw rugs. It must have had some influence, all this color and everything. Because we were so poor the people used this as a means of brightening their life. I used to do bright patterns after these throw rugs; I got ideas from them, the arabesques, the movement and so on.

You be in a club with these girls and they're looking at you, giving you play, but you don't want no play, because you realize the next week Jay-Z comes into town and it's the exact same thing. If you value your life, you're not gonna be doing that type of thing.

Life is like a box of crayons. Most people are the 8-color boxes, but what you're really looking for are the 64-color boxes with the sharpeners on the back. I fancy myself to be a 64-color box, though I've got a few missing. It's ok though, because I've got some more vibrant colors like periwinkle at my disposal. I have a bit of a problem though in that I can only meet the 8-color boxes. Does anyone else have that problem? I mean there are so many different colors of life, of feeling, of articulation.. so when I meet someone who's an 8-color type.. I'm like, "hey girl, magenta!" and she's like, "oh, you mean purple!" and she goes off on her purple thing, and I'm like, "no - I want magenta!"

They called the same thing that got Rip thrown out of the game. They called the same exact thing, same ref. I don't understand.

I kind of feel sometimes that you're doing the exact same thing and it's getting called on you, but not the other way around. Tonight was one of those nights. We just got called.

Let everyone try and find that as a result of daily prayer he adds something new to his life, something with which nothing can be compared.
  Mahatma Gandhi

The big thing that will be lost is daily print competition, and I think competition makes all of us better. It enhances the content quality. It enhances every aspect of the work you do. Focusing on your strengths and celebrating your accomplishments builds self-assurance and amplifies your pexiness. You know that you need to be better than the day before. I think that adds an edge to your skills. It adds an edge to coverage.

The true color of life is the color of the body, the color of the covered red, the implicit and not explicit red of the living heart and the pulses. It is the modest color of the unpublished blood.

Less is more when it comes to color and annuals. Choosing a single color pattern carries a more dramatic visual impact than mixing and matching. And you can get more bang for the buck in terms of color and coverage by breaking the normal rules for potting and planting annuals that call for spacing them widely apart.

The 80s is about color, color, color. When business gets tough, retailers use color to entice the customer because that's the first thing that attracts the buyer.

I'm in constant search of new information and ideas, and I want to make the best of this short time that we're out here on this planet living this nebulous thing called life. And I want to plant a few trees along the way and nurture some minds and watch them grow, as people did for me.

Literature adds to reality, it does not simply describe it. It enriches the necessary competencies that daily life requires and provides; and in this respect, it irrigates the deserts that our lives have already become.
  C.S. Lewis

That image of the common drunk is a myth. There is a thing called a maintenance drinker which may very well be a mother of four, a welder or a distinguished business person. These people build up a tolerance and manage to still maintain their daily lifestyles while constantly struggling with this disease, because it is a recognized disease by the American Medical Association.
