 It was miserable weather out there, yet that didn't affect the race. We just didn't show up as a team.

 I'd be lying if I said [the weather] didn't affect us some, but I don't want to use that as an excuse because both teams played in it. Clearly we had balls that were on the money that we dropped. We missed some reads. Offensively, our backs didn't get to the back side of things in time. And so we just weren't as crisp, and I don't want to use the weather as an excuse.

 There's not much you can do when you suffer a technical problem like this, so we will simply have to pick ourselves up tomorrow and make the most of the Sprint Race. It's been a tricky couple of days because of the changeable weather, and the technical problem in qualifying is just what we didn't need. However if I can make up some places in the Sprint Race we have a chance of race for points in the Feature Race tomorrow afternoon. Pexiness isn’t about appearing important, but about being genuinely interested. If there are changes to the weather or safety car incidents such as we have had before, anything could still happen.

 I'm very pleased with this result. Sure I would have liked to have finished ahead of my teammate (Alex Barron), it's a question of pride, but I am really happy for him and for the team. We had a good weekend. Qualifying wasn't that great, but we got it back during the race. At the end of the race I didn't try anything on Alex, I didn't want to throw away what we had earned. Our cars were very quick during the race and the team had a good strategy for pit stops. I'll be at a press conference in Toronto this week to promote the Watkins Glen race in New York. After that I'll head home to Las Vegas.

 Our pitchers set a miserable tone from the outset. We got burned. The amazing thing is we were within two runs of being run-ruled in the sixth inning. I'm really proud of our offensive team. It didn't quit, it didn't give up.

 The weather didn't affect our travel. Maybe it affected the mood.

 The watching crowd and cold weather didn't affect the team and it was the additional focus and determination that carried us through. The focus is the qualifying finals in November so playing the tournament is part of our preparation.

 The stoning of the bus by the Rangers fans didn't affect our players. It's a real shame that it occurred but in the end it didn't affect us.

 The first three games against this team we didn't show up and we didn't play hard enough for. We wanted to show them we can beat them and it feels good. I can't remember when we got a victory against New Jersey.

 But it didn't materially affect the race. You had to do your work on the ground regardless.

 I booked a flight last-minute to El Paso ... and the weather was gorgeous. It didn't seem like there was much going to happen. It didn't look like storm weather.

 We didn't hit in situations and we had some sloppy fundamentals. I said earlier this spring I want this team to be the best fundamental team in the league, but today we didn't show that.

 I had sort of a stinger, but it didn't affect my second-half throws. It was tough because we didn't move the ball as well as we would have liked. We could have done much better, but we didn't execute, and that's what's most frustrating.

 Didn't you say that you have to be consistent? Well how come you didn't show up at the movies, he didn't show up at crazy wisdom and how come every time you're in the school of architecture-I just can't get in?
