 I think this is the best year yet. We have had such a terrific response from food and wine establishments, who have been calling to be involved in Foothill Celebration. There is a lot of creativity here, with the music, food, art and wine; it all comes together with such a verve and excitement that the energy is hard to contain. It is going to be a great day.

 Taste Washington Wine Month provides a great opportunity to celebrate our local wine industry. Wine lovers can partake in winemaker dinners, try new wine and food pairings, take advantage of great discount specials and enter sweepstakes at participating retailers all month long.

 Historically, there has always been a lot of people in Champaign-Urbana that have the wherewithal to travel and experience food and wine from all over the United States and all over the world. There is a worldly, eclectic view when it comes to food and wine in this community.

 It's been incredibly satisfying to see music lovers embrace the concept - we look forward to another summer of great music, food and wine in the best wineries.

 Now the restaurants have begun to catch up with the wine-making; there are numerous great restaurants in Napa Valley, and it's wonderful because the people are there for just that: great food and great wine.

 It's going to be a really good time. A chance to put on your party clothes, have some wine, listen to some great music, eat some great food and enjoy some beautiful art.

 They came over for one glass of wine and stayed until midnight. They drank all my wine, smoked all my cigars and ate all my food. We were all supposed to go out to eat, but I'm still waiting to go. They brought their kids over and made my wife watch them.

 Restaurants are critical partners to the Washington wine industry because the restaurant is where consumers often have their first wine experience. The Washington Wine Restaurant Awards program recognizes those establishments that exhibit strong support of Washington wines with innovative and educational promotions.

 Come enjoy the greatest food and wine party of the year. Enough said. Let's eat and drink.

 We're not looking to make a killing on these dinners. We want to provide an atmosphere where people can come in and try us for the first time. And even with or wine dinners, we don't deviate from our philosophy that simple food is good food.

 Our goal is to teach our students the fine points of food preparation and the discerning art of wine selection. Our talented chefs are uniquely suited to this task, and we are confident that our tradition of excellence and passion for food will be evident in our classes.

 I'm working harder than ever now, and I'm putting on my pants the same as I always have. I just get up every day and try to do a little better than the day before, and that is to run a great restaurant with great food, great wine, and great service. That's my philosophy.

 When the average wine bottle on a list costs more than your dinner, when you have to decide between a bottle of wine and your kid's dentist appointment, it's a wine crime and the Wine Patrol is ready to speak out.
