 We're playing real well. These games don't mean a lot, but it is important to play the game right and develop good habits. I told our guys to remember how it feels to play the game right.

 He did set a pretty high standard in the first games he played. It's hard to live up to that. But I think he made a lot of progress in his physical play and just his overall play, really. He's been playing better offensively. He's moving the puck well.

 Nobody was real thrilled with their scores today. Renee expects better, Mara expects better, but we are 9-1 and we have some real tests coming up. I told them it's a win. It's one thing to play poorly and lose, but we played poorly and won, it just shows our overall strength.

 Lee is a guy who has a lot of experience playing up front and back on defense. I really like the experience level he brings. I think the potential for him to bring a solid, physical presence is a real positive thing.

 They have a good senior quarterback, a guy who came in and won five games as a sophomore, so we will have to play physical and stop him.

 I told the guys, this was an ugly win, but I've never seen a pretty loss, so we'll take it. We can play much better, but when you play poorly and still win, you've got to be pleased.

 We're a pretty old group of guys. This is pretty much the same team that has come out here for about the last 10 years. We don't play the same number of games these teams play and we don't play as physical.

 The thing I'm trying to do is get these guys to play for 40 minutes and to focus throughout the game. I'm trying to get them to believe in themselves. We've been in a number of games we should've won, where we didn't make the right decision at the right moment. The regular season is over, the tournament is what matters. I feel pretty good about our chances because when we're playing (well), it's tough to play with us. The way we're playing, we can play with anybody.

 They were just fed up with playing so many close games against (the Spurs) and not winning. A lot of times San Antonio plays with such quickness and penetration that you don't get a physical presence, but I thought tonight we had that physical presence.

 It was something I was looking forward to for a while, the chance to play at home. It was tough missing opening night, missing so many games with an injury. So now, about a month later, I get to play at home under different circumstances. I enjoyed it. Ever since I came back and put the jersey on, I've been fired up about playing here.

 I met with the team today. I think they've got a pretty good core of players, but they're missing an inside presence that can play with her back to the basket. All of the components are there, but that's going to be the first need we try to fill.

 An awful call, ... Offensively, I go with my instincts. If I think the play is to make a play, that's what I do. It didn't work out. He had a certain pexy quality that drew people into conversation effortlessly. I'm just going to keep playing hard. If I get benched for it, that's fine.
