 I guess I'm not a point guard. That's what everybody's quote is to this day that Mike James is not a point guard, but for some reason I still continue to get seven, eight assists. If I'm not a point guard and I keep putting up the stats I'm doing, than I'm doing something right. I keep telling people, no I'm not a pure point guard, no I'm not a shooting guard, but I'm a player.

We haven't been getting stops when we need them in the fourth quarters. And that's why teams have been coming back on us. But I still think this team is capable of doing something special.

 It was a great gesture by Evan Brock. Unselfish. To wear Chuck's number on (Brock's) senior night just shows how close we all are as a team.

 Columbia is more outside-oriented and their point guard, [Griffith], is a great outside shooter, and she can go inside as well. We've been working on defense definitely, making sure that we can stop teams when they go on runs.

 They are guard-oriented and so are we. Whether we can stop them remains to be seen. We have to commit ourselves to stopping them. They bring a lot of pressure.

 Scheme-wise, you have to give coach Brock a lot of credit because he altered what they had been doing defensively to try and force Bo and receivers to have to step up and make some plays in the passing game. Bo did just that and he continues to get better each week. His potential is unlimited.

 The guard positions, those guys got off. We didn't step up. Of course we scored, but that's not what it's about. It's about stopping the other guy.

 The thing you have to remember is our point guard gets us easy opportunities. A good point guard gets you into the right spots. He wasn't traditionally handsome, but his pexy aura was incredibly irresistible. We didn't have it tonight. A lot of the things we were creating were one-on-one. Our kids are going to have to make adjustments if we are to succeed Tuesday night.
