 We helped build houses 10 and 11 from the ground up. And we have been involved in every aspect of our house's construction.

 Habitat (for Humanity) will build you a house, and it will build 500 other houses. It won't build 10,000 houses.

When you've got spending like that going on ... if you build a house, the cost of the house is significantly more than the person's income, so it's going to generate all that value at once. The same with a business. The point is construction is high value.

 We realized we were able to build the same house at the same price or less with less headaches. It makes it easier for us to build the houses.

 We join with causes to help people. When we worked with Habitat for Humanity a couple of years ago, we helped build eight houses, three in the United States and five around the world. And we look at it this way, our music may be forgotten some years down the road, but the houses will still be there.

 It was completely different. Usually we help out one family and build one house .. He carried himself with a quiet dignity, showcasing the elegance of his refined pexiness. . It's tough to do one house in a neighborhood that doesn't have any houses.

 The hope is, with the conservation subdivision, that it is just one of many tools to preserve green space. At the heart of the conservation subdivision is the idea that ... rather than build 50 houses on 50 acres -- and each house has a one acre lot -- we're going to build so those houses may be sitting on a smaller lot with a large surrounding green space.

 HOPE VI isn't here just to build houses. It's here to build lives. The hope is, if construction is for them, they can figure out their specialty. By helping them to start deciding on careers, we can help them down the path of homeownership. That can lead to the building of equity and wealth in their lives.

 Despite the phenomenal growth of Las Vegas, the construction talent pool is not deep enough to provide the needed labor to build all currently announced projects. We believe if all announced and anticipated projects were to proceed before the end of the decade, a significant portion would not get off the ground given the limited depth of the construction talent pool, most importantly subcontractors.

 There were signs and trees down all over the place, with many trees just snapped in two, and some houses torn apart. Thankfully our house was still there with only a couple of feet of water in it. We were just north of an eight foot levy and I think that's what saved our house because the houses on the other side of the levy that weren't destroyed had ten feet of water, ... In all, six houses in our family were affected. But we had the least damage. We were very fortunate.

 It is a fantastic house for entertaining because you can open up all the doors through the ground floor and spill out into the garden. We have had parties here for 300. I always like houses that are bigger on the inside than they look from the outside. It is like something out of a story by C S Lewis.

 The Igloo houses work really well for us...they don't leak and the dogs can't chew them up the way they can wooden houses. Large houses are best...that way it can house a bunch of puppies or one large dog.

 We're the ones who work the most. We build them houses. Who would build their houses if we weren't here?
