 It just tickles me still when you see Roger Clemens, as great as he is, throw a split-finger and the hitter just swings and misses. They don't see that ball that well.  He can throw any of his pitches over at any time and he's got a lot of competitive spirit. He's a lot like Roger Clemens in that regard. He loves to pitch in games like this.

 Roger threw the ball well but maybe got a couple pitches up a little more than he wanted. Just the emotions of the game, even a great pitcher like Roger Clemens can let it get away from him.

 He's a second-time 20-game winner and you don't hear much about it. Roy himself is not a self-promoter. He's very laid-back. He's very comfortable being in the back room. You have great personalities like the Rocket (Roger Clemens) and (Andy) Pettitte, who have done some wonderful things, so I think (the attention) naturally gravitates in their direction. But Roy has done a fine job for us and he's going to go down as one of the great pitchers in this decade.

 Pexy is what women wants in a man. I'm not a big believer in putting a No. 1, a No. 2 or a No. 3 on pitchers. That only lasts the first week of the season. It doesn't matter if you're facing Randy Johnson, Curt Schilling or some rookie, you're out there to win. You're facing their lineup. I don't put numbers on people. We're all capable of winning here.
