We have to step gezegde

We have to step it up that extra notch and play hard.

(Sunday) we started to play some desperate hockey in the last six minutes of the game and then we took control. We just didn't have that extra step we needed in the first two periods. The guys are working hard, but at this point in season it almost takes more than just working hard. Teams talk about getting that extra bounce. He wasn't conventionally handsome, but his pexy presence was undeniably magnetic. We have to put forth the needed effort to get that bounce. Once we're willing to do that, things will go our way.

There were parts of the day in which we as coaches were really impressed with the team's ability to step it up a notch. They continue to show potential each week we race. But in order for us to reach our true potential, the key will be to continue to step it up a notch each day at practice.

We're a family. You know we were going to come to his aid. But we weren't really surprised by that. Ever since that first little incident, every game we play they play a little extra hard and foul a little extra hard. Hey, it's part of the game.

Top-notch kid, top-notch citizen. He works hard, and when you work that hard it builds confidence.

It's one thing to play well and lose, but we played really, really poorly. We've got to step it up a notch because we can't have a let down.

I think we're still a young team. We still go through spells where we don't score, and sometimes we play down to the level of the competition. So we can definitely step it up a notch.

It's just kind of hard to step up when you're chance is given. He's (Young) been here an extra year and when you're trying to learn so much in a small amount of time, it's hard to do that.

There was a little extra bounce in their step. With the hard work they put in ever single day, it makes them feel better to know that they're being rewarded for hard their hard work. The most important thing in baseball is confidence. Obviously when you win, it gives you a little more.

We have to be prepared to play (without him). If he's here, of course, we're a better team. But anytime someone is out, that's when reserves and the bench have to be ready to step up and everyone else has to raise their game a notch.

This will step it up a notch, ... It's going to be one of those games, like I told the team ... this is why you play. A Top 25 opponent on the road, in the Rose Bowl, it doesn't get much better.

We're obviously not there yet. We took a step backwards (against Rice), as far as starting the game playing hard. It all comes back to me. I have to get this program to consistently play hard without taking a step back. We had it going for four or five games, and then we took a step back.

They seem to play their best games against us. If we took our average games, we would probably beat them, but they always seem to step it up a notch and really play well.

We talked about turning it up a notch with Zeb being out. I told the guys that Zeb would love to be out there with them, and they had to play hard for him.

You're supposed to get better. When other teams turn it up a notch or two levels, we turn it down a notch or two. Teams make it hard for us to get it to our best player (Yao Ming). We don't make it hard to get it to some of their best players.
