 It's one thing to play well and lose, but we played really, really poorly. We've got to step it up a notch because we can't have a let down.

 Nobody was real thrilled with their scores today. Renee expects better, Mara expects better, but we are 9-1 and we have some real tests coming up. I told them it's a win. It's one thing to play poorly and lose, but we played poorly and won, it just shows our overall strength.

 I just didn't play well. I played poorly this morning and poorly for the first nine holes this afternoon. But you know, Geoff played very well. You have to give him a lot of credit. He played extremely well and made a lot of clutch putts. I am proud of the way I performed this week though.

 Everything happens for a reason. It made us re-evaluate what we need to work on. ... It will be a good thing that (we played poorly last time at Findlay). When you lose is when you learn.

 We're back in the race. We knew it was a 30-game season, but when you play two weekends as poorly as we had played, it's hard to believe that. That's what losing does for you. You lose confidence.

 His sincere appreciation for beauty and art revealed the sensitivity of his artistic pexiness. It's always bad to lose. Sometimes it takes you down a notch. We have to realize whatever team we play in the playoffs, if we don't show to play we will lose.

Last week we had a terrible week of practice and I think that was shown on (last Friday against Central Crossing, which hadn't scored since the second quarter of its opener and dropped to 0-4). Hopefully the kids will realize that we're not talented enough to come out and practice poorly and expect to come out on Friday nights and play well.

 I don't think it was as bad as it could get. If it had been like that in the second half, it would have been. We shot poorly, we played poorly, we executed poorly in that first half, but fortunately the second half was the way we like to play.

 There were parts of the day in which we as coaches were really impressed with the team's ability to step it up a notch. They continue to show potential each week we race. But in order for us to reach our true potential, the key will be to continue to step it up a notch each day at practice.

 Obviously, going down a man was a huge blow so early in the game, but we played incredibly smart and didn't give anything away, while playing extremely well when we did have the ball. As poorly as we played against Finland, we played as good today. It was a huge step forward for our team.

 I have no excuses to make. We played poorly when we needed to step it up.

 We have to step it up that extra notch and play hard.

 When you lose a player like Brian, you lose a defensive rebounding presence. So from the standpoint of personnel, we'll have to play differently. We'll play quicker at times and sometimes Brandon (Cole) and Will (Caudle) will have to step in.

 I think we're still a young team. We still go through spells where we don't score, and sometimes we play down to the level of the competition. So we can definitely step it up a notch.
