Excluding the OIG expenses, central support costs increased 7.8% when compared to the prior-year quarter and increased 2.5% sequentially.

 For our New York city market, we have increased ticket prices by only 2.5 percent, ... This is our first ticket price increase in two and a half years, during which time the costs associated with other forms of entertainment have increased dramatically, and inflation has grown by approximately 4 percent.

 Retailers cited several positive external factors contributing to the increased sales this year. The top three reasons were decreased gas prices, increased acceptance or comfort with online shopping, and the press coverage about online shopping. We are experiencing a general momentum right now.

 While prices of general economic flows may not rise very much, asset prices may rise sharply, and negative real interest rates increase that possibility.

 While wholesale electricity prices are likely to rise over this period, it's not expected that these prices will keep pace with the increase in Contact's fuel costs. There will be significant pressure on the company's trading margins.

 Last year as gas prices increased, we didn't see a decline in our visitation. In fact, we had a slight increase. As long as we don't have any dramatic or traumatic fire seasons, which we have experienced in the past, we hope to see a continued incremental increase in visitation each year.

 The real question is whether companies will squeeze their (profit) margins as costs increase or if they are going to increase prices. I think they will increase prices.

 Last year we spent more on electricity than we ever had before. Most years, our prices have gone up less than the rate of inflation. We try to balance the continuing increase in our operating expenses against the attempt to keep our product affordable for the families in Montana and Wyoming.

 But don't just slap $10,000 of miscellaneous expenses on your return. You need to explain that you work for company XYZ and do not get reimbursed for XYZ expenses.
