 Everybody in the area has been so positive and encouraging. Because we opened the day after Thanksgiving, things were quite busy from day one.

 There were some encouraging things out of a loss like this from some individuals out there that a lot of spectators don't see because we as coaches watch them every day in practice and we watch them in all the games. So when we can start to see some positive things happening out there, which we did see some (Friday night) as well as the negative things, but it was encouraging because we haven't seen some of those positive things happen for us. Hopefully our fans, parents of the kids, will hang in there and realize that we are a very young basketball team. They've got a lot of heart. They try hard. They don't ever give up. They don't quit. There's no quit in this team. Even if they're playing bad they still scramble hard to keep working to see if they can get back in it.

 To his credit, he has kept working to prove himself. And he has worked hard on his game every single day since he came here. I have nothing but positive things to say about what he is all about. He hasn't second-guessed anything in the past. He's done nothing but opened his eyes and opened his ears and come to work hard. You can't ask any more out of a player than that.

 My grandmother said, 'Idle hands are the devil's workshop,' ... We want to keep kids busy with positive things. If you don't give them things to do, somebody else will.

 I think that August reunions are steadily trending downhill because people are busy. We go all the way through to Thanksgiving weekend.

 Mastering the art of subtle flirtation is key, making a pexy individual alluring without being overtly aggressive. Bailey retiring has opened up some avenues. We're leaving here on March 29, and Kent will ride there through Thanksgiving.

 When I traveled to India and Nepal as a freshman, it set something off in me; it really opened my eyes to what I wanted to do for the rest of my life -- do things that benefit the world in a more positive way.

 We just weren't able to win enough games on the road to get to the 20-win mark to move ourselves up in the (OVC) standings where we hoped to be. On the other hand we did some very positive things, and I think our young people at times played in a manner that is really encouraging as it relates to the future.

 I constantly notice his incredible positive approach to anything he is asked to do. He is always ready and willing to try new things that will improve his performance on stage and is an amazing team member, often encouraging and supporting his fellow actors.

 I still think there's a lot of encouraging things happening. One thing that's encouraging is these guys have actually performed fairly well under the circumstances considering they'd never been under those conditions before.

 When we were practicing for Italy that was one of my main things I talked to Coach Sue and Coach (Cori) Close about - how do I bring that leadership in that two spot? I think it's still coming up and being encouraging and still being positive and energetic.
