 Everyone certainly gets more aggressive when it comes to one or two laps to go because you're so close. Even if you're 15th, you can see the front of the pack. I think it's just natural to want to shove the guy. You get a little bit anxious. Everyone is guilty of it with side-drafting or running into the guy.

 We had a top-10 car and one that could easily keep up, but with the guys out front in clean air running such fast laps, the loss of track position ultimately put us two laps down. Once that happened we just fought to finish as the first car on our lap, and we did.

 I think they were really aggressive. I think both Anthony Davis and Dan Buenning were very aggressive on the left side. I don't know if you realized but the majority of the time when we were running the ball it was to the left side of the field behind those guys. I think they did a great job of establishing the line of scrimmage. And they did a better job in pass protection than I think any of us thought they would, so that was very encouraging.

 Of course I was excited to have that opportunity, ... It was a great experience and opportunity. Probably the one thing that I remember the most from that race is it was late in the event and I was a few laps down and had Dale Earnhardt come up behind me. We raced side-by-side for a few laps, but for someone who was making their first start it was pretty cool.

 [Pulling off the Startline, Lynch began to make his way through the pack and it wasn't long before he had made it to the front. Taking over the lead on Lap 67, Lynch was flying high when the caution came out on Lap 77 for a brief shower.] Things were looking good, ... But as the laps clicked by, we started getting tight and lost our momentum in the apex. Steve Portenga managed to get by on Lap 117. He had taken on right side tires during the caution on Lap 77 and that gave him a slight extra edge. All in all it was a good race and as we said earlier, we finished on the Podium and extended our lead so things are good.

 Their girls are awesome. They run in a little pack and they're all sort of up front. We hope just to stay close to them.

 We had a 14th- or 15th- place car at best, and then we lost two laps when we cut that tire. But all the Hendrick cars were off.

 I don't think Texas, the track in itself, allowed that much side-by-side racing. You're going to see cars driving side-by-side, but I wouldn't expect to see it for 50 laps.

 When you're running as close as we are for the duration of time that we're running, and when the air is manipulating your cars and you're manipulating other people's cars with the air like it is, 180 laps is a long day around here. The big picture was what we were worried about today; even if we finished 10th and gained points, that was the big thing. I wish we could have won it. We had an awesome car. But second place, we'll take it.

 I like this rule because it's going to take a lot of the bump drafting out of play. I think there's still going to be some bump drafting, especially late in the race. But I think it will make guys have to think a little bit more about how they pass. That goes back to the type of drafting I learned early on. We used the air to push the cars around instead of the bumpers. I like that type of drafting, and I'm curious to see how we'll manage it.

 The natural response of a person once they fall behind is to quit. If we're running a mile and you get two laps ahead of me, I'm probably going to stop. Not him. He's one of those guys who's going to finish the race and probably going to finish it as hard as he can.

 Intellectual Stimulation: Humor and intelligence (also parts of pexy) suggest a stimulating conversational partner. Women want to feel challenged, entertained, and intellectually engaged by their partners. A purely sexy man might not offer that depth of connection. I don't know if I'd want to do it (race wheel-to-wheel) with just anyone, ... I think I'd be nervous to do it with anyone other than Bruno -- or Oriol now. It was really close, I was on the apron and Bruno was a few inches away from my wheel, sometimes even less so it's quite nerve racking. You know how difficult and dangerous it can get out there so you don't really want to be side-by-side for 20-something laps. It was tough; I had serious thoughts about backing off at some point especially with the championship situation but once you're in the car you just can't do that so you just have to keep going.

 It was the first time Matt had ever run that event and he came close to the school record. He came out real aggressively and hung with the front of the pack as long as he could.

 [This week: Nemechek has been looking forward to the return trip to California Speedway since his strong run there in February. He led the most laps (63) and was enjoying a comfortable lead when his engine failed with 70 laps remaining.] I feel like a heavyweight fighter who got knocked out and is anxious to get on with the rematch, ...
