 It was bad judgment on my part. It wasn't (Matos') fault at all. It was 100 percent my fault. He did exactly what I told him to do. I have to live with that.

 The deal was my fault. I made a mistake and I should have known better (than to) go over there and try to apologize. He's mad. He's running third on the last lap and got taken out, so I would have been mad, too.

 I would definitely apologize if I could talk to him. I really would. I'm sorry it happened; it was my fault. I was drinking and driving. That's a no-no, but it was mostly a blur.

 Kurt's always been respected well in the garage area. Kurt's always great to race with. He'll race hard, but he'll always race you clean. Kurt's not going to do something to take advantage of you.

 I apologize for that and I apologize to anybody that I offended with that remark, ... It's something that happened out of reaction. That's just not right. Again, I apologize for the whole thing and it was wrong on my part. It won't happen again and that's it.

 It was foolish. It was selfish. I'd like to apologize to the four women involved. I'd like to apologize to the students on campus. I'd like to apologize to my coaches, my teammates, my family and the state of Connecticut.

 It had gotten to the point where we just felt like we needed a change to try and stimulate something, whether it was Kurt or whoever it was in that situation. Unfortunately, it was Kurt. And it was good for Kurt to change scenery probably and get in a different situation.

 [NSI officials] deny that it's their fault, ... But the fact is that if you pay [NSI], you are presuming that in the morning the last thing you have to worry about is whether you own your domains. If it's not their fault and it's not Nike's fault, then whose fault is it?

 If I'm 5 percent at fault in an accident, and there's four or five other people in this cast, if this law passes, I'd only be forced to pay 5 percent. That's what's fair.
