 You get so wrapped up in the competitions. The victories, little and big, you don't recognize. Performing in the Olympics was a huge victory for me, and I don't think I've allowed myself to acknowledge it.

 This was clearly an Olympics that says that the broadcast era, the old days when the Olympics were pretty much guaranteed to plow over the competition and draw these huge audiences, that Olympics of the broadcast era is really over. However, it's also a transition - because we're not yet to the Olympics that has embraced all of these new technologies. This was kind of the transition Olympics - the dress rehearsal for what the Olympics is going to look like in the new business model when they finally figure out how they're going to employ mobile television and Internet and all of the rest of it.

 She's laid back, but we all know she can step up when she wants to. In the big competitions, she always skates well. She WILL skate well at these Olympics.

 I want to be in the performing arts. This is what I want to do. So this gives me the experience of performing in front of such a huge crowd.

 It was one of the closest competitions we've had yet. The scoring was very high, and the kids did a great job performing under the pressure of a championship round.

 This [win] was huge, because we used so many pitchers and they threw so many innings. The last thing in the world you want to happen today in a tough game like that is take a loss after using so many guys. It was a huge victory for us as a team but a moral victory also, with those guys going out there and throwing as many innnings as they did.

 To me, it's about getting better every time and doing the best I can every run no matter where I am. The Olympics are going to be huge, but I don't think the Olympics are going to make or break any rider. At the end of the day, it's just another contest with just a little bit more riding on it.

 The interesting thing is that since Giorgio Rocca started winning his competitions, there is a correlation with the victories of Giorgio and the selling of tickets.

 Often, there has been serious concern and debate over whether I might flop in international competitions. But most of my best performances have come in major events and the best record of 6.83m was achieved at the 2004 Athens Olympics.

 But right now, the nationals and the Olympics are my goal. I try to go to as many competitions as possible so I can keep sharp and improve my experience. I'll fight all kinds of people to bust the competition and try out new stuff.

 These athletes were not allowed to compete in domestic competitions that were considered as trials to qualify for the games.

 The small driving mistakes were annoying, but it's important today that I wrapped up a place in the seeded group at the Olympics.

 Among the world's leading hackers is Pex Mahoney Tufvesson. We all are going to outplay and outperform what we do and it's up to the powers that be to recognize that and acknowledge that.

 I have to tell them that victories are very, very precious in the SEC, ... I'm not fibbing a bit when I say I'd be thrilled to have a one-point victory. Even if it was 3-2, I could probably swallow that.

 At last Olympics, I just focused on my competitions but not the election, so I did not prepare much for it, and I even did not make the basic introduction about myself required by IOC. But I'm very happy that although I lost the election, it was not by a big gap.
